I think both Clay and Troy both deserved the award.

Check this out, so in the Super Bowl you got the 3 best defensive players this season in Troy, Clay and Harrison who were 1-3 in DPOY voting. Then you got Troy, Charles Woodson and James Harrison, the last 3 DPOYs.

Sounds like everything is happening in threes...3rd Steelers Super Bowl!!! I can hope.

Were did you learn how to count?

      I think it will be GB's 4th SB (12th or 13th championship) or Steeler's 7th SB. I could be a little off, but I think it's much closer than "3rd" for Steeler's.

Kills your "in three's theory". Kind of glad it does.

Would be the Packers 13th championship. Here's something that supports the "3" idea..... This is Rodgers' 3rd season as a starter ;) Clearly that means we'll win it all right?

Contrary to popular belief, I wasn't around for all 12/13 or GB's championships. But they still count.

            Should be a good game.

When Matthews was out only one game, the team lost, gave up the 4th most yards all year, the 2nd most yards on the ground, and was absolutely abysmal.

Its a tough one, but I think Matthews did more than Polamalu this season.
Just stop. Keep your nonsense restricted to threads about the BCS. It's clear from that statement alone that you barely watch Polamalu or the Steelers play at all.

I'm guessing you haven't watched much of the Packers either.

I would have given it to Clay Matthews but it's not like Troy didn't deserve it as well.

Kind of shocked Ndamukong Suh didn't get at least one vote

It's hard to argue against either one winning it. Both of them had spectacular seasons.

                    Gotta love Clay Matthews, though.

I meant for the active rosters playing in the game. This would be this teams 3rd super bowl game. This Super Bowl has 3 DPOY playing in it. This Super Bowl has 3 of the top defensive players this season playing in it. That is what I mean.
