I think both Clay and Troy both deserved the award.

Check this out, so in the Super Bowl you got the 3 best defensive players this season in Troy, Clay and Harrison who were 1-3 in DPOY voting. Then you got Troy, Charles Woodson and James Harrison, the last 3 DPOYs.

I think it will be GB's 4th SB (12th or 13th championship) or Steeler's 7th SB. I could be a little off, but I think it's much closer than "3rd" for Steeler's.

Contrary to popular belief, I wasn't around for all 12/13 or GB's championships. But they still count.

If Polamalu hadn't missed 2 games, I could see him getting it, but since he did and one of those games was the team's best defensive performance all season in terms of points and yards allowed, I have to give it to Matthews. When Matthews was out only one game, the team lost, gave up the 4th most yards all year, the 2nd most yards on the ground, and was absolutely abysmal.

Its a tough one, but I think Matthews did more than Polamalu this season.

Just stop. Keep your nonsense restricted to threads about the BCS. It's clear from that statement alone that you barely watch Polamalu or the Steelers play at all.

I'm guessing you haven't watched much of the Packers either.

I meant for the active rosters playing in the game. This would be this teams 3rd super bowl game. This Super Bowl has 3 DPOY playing in it. This Super Bowl has 3 of the top defensive players this season playing in it. That is what I mean.
