    Grading the 2010 Bears draft

Pick: Round 3, Major Wright, FS, Florida
    Stats: 24 tackles, 0 starts
    Grade: D-
Comment: After a promising pre-season, Wright got nicked up and failed to produce. He had no starts, made no big plays, and was frequently lost in pass coverage. His only skill appeared to be jumping on piles after the whistle.

Pick: Round 4, Corey Wooton, DE, Northwestern
    Stats: 5 tackles, 1 sack, 0 starts
    Grade: F
Comment: Another Bears pick from the Northwestern football factory, Wooton was a big disappointment. No starts, very few appearances in general, and only 1 sack for the entire season. Will soon become an historical footnote (Who ended Brett Favre’s career?) and nothing more.

Pick: Round 5, Joshua Moore, CB, Kansas State
    Stats: 1 tackle, 0 starts
    Grade: F
Comment: In a season when spots in the Bears secondary were up for grabs, Moore did nothing to distinguish himself. Played in 3 games all year, making 1 tackle. Undersized with no instincts, many were surprised that Moore was drafted at all.

Pick: Round 6, Dan LeFevour, QB, Central Michigan
    Stats: None
    Grade: F
Comment: Not much to say. LeFevour got caught in a numbers game, and lost his roster spot to a completely ineffective Todd Collins.

Pick: Round 7, J’Marcus Webb, OT, West Texas A&M
    Stats: 14 games, 12 starts
    Grade: B
Comment: The only draft pick to contribute anything of note. Started 12 games, basically by default, and was overmatched for much of the year. Could remain a starter if the Bears don’t address their offensive line.

    Overall draft grade: F

Senser's 2010 Draft Grades are as useless as Kiper's.

Isn't this usually how the Bears' drafts go?

Over the last 5-6 years, they've drafted complete busts or traded away the few guys that show some potential only to draft another guy at the same position.
