Thank you. I watched this game last week and he did absolutely nothing. He almost threw a pick 6 near the end of the half to get the Colts back in the game, but the Colt DB dropped it.Comment

I think that shows how much tougher and better both leagues were at the time.
to say he did nothing is kind of ridiculous from an arm chair stand point.
You do realize ,both him and the Jets had an entire league on their shoulders.
Waiting, watching,wanting,needing, hoping-
Don Maynard even said- he was less a womanizer than thought of and more of a QB than people realized.
how great is he ? I dont know ?
but he lead one of the more important victories in football history that helped shape the league.Comment

Kurt Warner IMO is the best Super Bowl QB of all time. this should be about how they performed in the Super Bowl and not the team as a whole. Warner put his team in the position to win every SB he was a part of, and his only real blunder in any of those games was the pick six to James Harrison. and IIRC he has the three highest single game passing totals in SB history.Comment

Simms completed 25 of 28 passes and threw 3 TDs in his only Super Bowl. Not even including that 2 of his incompletions were drops.
Eli was the only quarterback in the super bowl when his team needed a touchdown to win in the last 2 minutes to complete a TD. He defeated arguably the best team of all time. A team in modern day free agency era that almost accomplished 19-0.

The Steelers were down 3 when Big Ben hit Holmes with the game winning TD. Thus a TD was needed to win the game.Comment

Namath is the most overrated QB of all time. He didn't even account for a TD in SB III.
Brady - 3-1, 95.1 QB Rating 7 Touchdowns, 1 Int, 1001 Yards on 100 Completions
?
Bradshaw only threw more INT's then TD's in the Superbowl once.Comment
