...to Jarret Bush. I have dogged the hell out of this guy for the past 2 and a half years. I grew tired of his awfulness in coverage, and mistake prone special teams play. When Charles Woodson went down, I thought for sure the second half would get ugly for our defense. He filled in for Woodson better than I'd have ever expected. Before the 08, and 09 seasons I begged that Bush be cut from the roster. It was something I hoped for before each cut day building towards the season. It's the complete opposite now.

He did fuck up coverage on that Hines Ward TD though........fell for the oldest trick in the book, by the oldest player on the field....The Ole' Marty McFly "Hey What's that?!?!" Trick....

He made a huge play. It wasn't an interception that "fell right into his lap". He was an impact player on special teams all season as well. Just another one of the guys that stepped up to make this championship season possible.
One more thing - I don't know if anyone else caught this, and it was one of my favorite shots during the Superbowl. It was either a quick replay of the celebration right after that last play on Fox or it was live, but it showed Jarret Bush coming to the sideline without his helmet on after the last stop on defense. He had completely broken down and was crying as he went to hug one of the assistant coaches. It just shows you how much it meant to everybody. I loved it and I don't know why it hasn't been shown again.Comment
