Wasn't Sanders uttered in the same breath as Polamalu and Reed before he really got unlucky/fragile?

      The nerve of that girl.

Bob is in Jacksonville today having lunch with GM Gene Smith. Just a little history, Bob was teammates with Aaron Kampman and Sean Considine at the University of Iowa. Kampman noted when he signed in free agency, Gene Smith's relationship with Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz was a big reason he considered the Jaguars.

Your information in the article is wrong.

I'm nitpicking I know, but I figure you'd rather get some constructive criticism than just have it out in the open for everyone to see.

Indianapolis won the superbowl in the 06-07 season, Bob Sanders sat out most of that season but came in during the playoffs and pretty much single handedly turned the worst rush defense in the history of the NFL into one of the best in the NFL.

Bob Sanders returned in the 2007 season and won the DPOY award, while Indianapolis would go on to lose in the divisional round to San Diego.

              Yesssssssss.

Sanders was a good player but his constant injuries kept fucking Indy over. Like when they put Gonzo on IR to make room for Sanders to come back late in the season, then Bob never came back while Gonzo was stuck on the sidelines healthy.

That could happen. The Jags better not count on much though, as we all know Sanders' injury history. It's probably as good a guess as any, but the safer signing is still OJ Otogwe at this point.

Polian said something along the lines that he'd "welcome Sanders back if another team didn't want a shot with him" today.

I'd be fine with that. He can come back on a cheap contract.

Indy just can't be held hostage anymore by him and his injuries. The days of Indy putting all their eggs in the basket and hoping he can come start at safety have to be over. I can't take watching Aaron Francisco get playing time anymore because they're hopscotching around wasting a roster spot on Bob.
