Broncos, Champ Bailey Agree To Four Year Deal

We are thrilled to announce that the Broncos have agreed to terms on a new four-year contract with cornerback Champ Bailey.

Champ is truly one of the NFL's elite players, a 10-time Pro Bowler who is playing at the absolute highest level.

The commitment and loyalty that Champ has shown to the Broncos, the city of Denver and this region is exemplary.

We're fortunate to have Champ with the Broncos for a long time. This is a GREAT day for our entire organization and our fans.

I think is a good move by Denver. Do you think this takes Denver out of the Patrick Peterson sweepstakes come April?

No, nothing takes them out of the Patrick Peterson running. Having those two play opposite of each other is going to give opposing QB's fits. On top of that Perrish Cox has some rape charges coming his way so who do they really have opposite of Bailey?

Having Peterson and Bailey would be jizz worthy. Wonder if that will happen.

Bailey's a monster. Smart move by the Broncos.

Syd'Quan Thompson is a decent nickel corner at this stage in his development as well. We just really need someone to shore up the back of the secondary, Hill and Dawkins are way too slow at this stage of their careers to be expected to keep the deep guys in front of them. The only way I see this deal working for all four years is to move him back.

If we could somehow find a way to trade back and pick up Prince and Robert Quinn I would be all for that. I think that both Quinn and Bowers could be dominant players in John Fox's scheme.
Robert Quinn is a beast, I would just be scared his bro would rub off on him lol. I don't think we have a chance at Quinn unless we pick up another upper half 1 st rounder. I think Quinn will do work in the combine and move up to a top 10-15 pick.

Robert Quinn already is a top 10 pick
