This shit is all cheesy. There's no mathematical equation that equates college success moving to the pro level. It's easy to make statements like this, as nobody calls out your bullshit afterwards; but if you're right, your system is "foolproof".
I have to confess I did not watch many Iowa Hawkeye football games this season. I thought this line here was pretty cute.
I love seeing him justify that Stanzi outplayed Gabbert in the bowl game too. -
It's actually a fairly common comparison among the deskchair scouts and it seems to be because Stanzi, like Brady, will be drafted late from a Big 10 school. I don't see any other merit behind the comparison.
Also, I wouldn't say being compared to Tom Brady if Tom Brady was playing for anyone other than Belicheck is a good thing. Tom Brady=product of excellent coachingComment

Stanzi has been Iowa's starter for way too long.Comment

I would argue that Brady was such a late pick because he was the product of bad coaching at Michigan. If Lloyd Carr had stuck with Brady instead of benching him for Brian Griese, he probably would have been a 1st or 2nd round pick considering how good that Michigan team was. The reason Brady was such a late selection is because he never saw the field under Carr.
