Wrong again. Bryant refused to leave until his attorney got there and persuaded him to. Had it been as you described, he'd have been waiting in the back of a police car.

It happened late Saturday night and was reported early this morning, so it was a little over a day. So you're wrong aleady.
Multiple smaller outlets were reporting it on the 26th. ESPN is certainly not a "weekends off" company. Trust me, I know.

edit (I have to stop doing this): BTW, you were wrong (shocker). Peters was arrested Friday night into Saturday morning.

The Dez Bryant thing hit the ESPN main page when Sanders got involved.
Just because you claim not to have noticed it doesn't mean it wasn't there. It was.

The only thing I am proving is how wrong you are.
    Keep reaching.

No it doesn't. It just means his attorney arrived before it escalated.

ESPN also has a local page set up for Dallas, I'm sure that had something to do with how quickly it was reported. Still not getting "more" coverage. And I know for a fact it never hit the major headlines on Yahoosports.

If he was in danger of being arrested, unless his attorney lived within walking distance of the mall, there was no way he wasn't going to be waiting in the back of a police car by the time he got there.

And that's assuming they'd be waiting at all.

That's exactly my point. Bryant's story made Yahoo and ESPN almost immediately. Peter's story was on multiple outlets for nearly two whole days before Yahoo and ESPN decided it was ok to report it.

For comparison's sake, look at the aforementioned story of McCann, who was arrested in a similar circumstance and made the main website the next day.

As far as the bolded part, why do you think that is? The Rangers, Mavs and the fucking Stars? :rolling: @ you if you think that. Dallas is the definition of a one-sport town with some distractions masquerading as professional sports teams.

For little to do with his basketball team, sadly.

              When does ESPNPhilly launch?

OK, I'm gonna post this and then I promise I'm done.

Dallas passed on this guy because they had character concerns. I can hardly wait to see Skip Bayless and Jemele Hill debate his character on First Take tomorrow.

I'll let one of you decide whether or not to troll BB with it. :smug2:
