He'll make a solid coach for somebody. It's a shame. He's Peyton-like in his prep and his attitude towards the game...just brittle.

he's got all the mental attributes you could ever ask for and great accuracy, but the guy has a noodle arm and cant stay on the field...too bad. but he'd make a great qb coach down the road

              The future Jason Garrett.
Best reason to have a license.

I hope he decides to call it quits after this, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him try to maintain his career a little while longer.

I'm sure he will. Pennington is a smart quarterback, and even with his lack of arm strength, is an accurate passer. That is key to a backup quarterback, so if he wants a job, he can have one.

The Jason Garrett comparison was a good laugh, but also true.

I feel bad for Chad...i hope he stays in football, works on becoming a coach, as I think he will rise rather quickly...say 3-4 years of leg work and he should see a head coaching type opportunity.
