I'm surprised that Talib is getting recognition by non-bucs fans here on VSN. He shadowed all sorts of #1 receivers over the past few years and has done really well. He can still take a few too many shots and get screwed by his aggressiveness, but he has top five ball skills. Because he does have a few WTF moments, I'll say he is top ten, but not top five. The kid needs a little discipline is all.Comment

I scanned over that list 4 times checking for Aqib Talib because I couldn't believe he wasn't there. This was already stated but the fact that DeAngelo Hall is in the top ten and Talib is nowhere to be found is ridiculous.
I'm ecstatic about the improvements Tramon has made over the past two years, I liked him as a rookie and always had high hopes for him to succeed.Comment

As much of an asshat BigBucs is, I agree.. Talib should be on this list.
And Marcus Trufant should be ranked 309th.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

Williams was the lone player to make the top 10 while not being looked at as his team’s No. 1 guy. As much as I liked him, that prevented him from getting one of my votes. Same for Oakland’s Stanford Routt.
Although Williams and Routt played very well in 2010, their jobs can be made a lot easier by playing with Woodson and Asomugha rather than being asked to be their team’s version of those players. The toughest receiver on the opposition isn’t usually a factor for Williams or Routt. So misinformed. Tramon was locked up with the other team's #1 just as much, if not more than Woodson was.

The list is too "stock"...
How is DeAngelo Hall a Top 10 corner? The guy was picked on regularly last season and didn't disappoint opposing teams by giving up lots of catches. Awful success rate. Bottom three in nearly every CB metric used in the entire league.
The best corners are Revis, Winfield, Woodson, Nnamdi, and Asante...they'd be your top 5 most years. Then you fill in 6-10 with flavor of the year that had good metrics.
I am shocked Brandon Flowers wasn't rated in the Top 10. I'd take 1 Flowers before I take 5 DeAngelo Halls. Brett Grimes had a really strong year last year. Williams, Ron Bartell, and Stanford Routt had good years, too. Joselio Hansen had one of the better metric years of any cornerback.Comment

Glad to see Stanford Routt getting some love finally he played pretty good last year and will need to play better next year with no AsomughaTHe MaDDeN GoD
