They are completely different players. It'd be like comparing Julio Jones to Wes Welker.Comment

Who said otherwise? I don't recall making comparisons. I'm simply saying the end result will be the same. Ryan Kerrigan will completely fail in a different way than Adam Carriker. Ryan Kerrigan will fail by being a limited, talentless player, who will give you everything he has. Adam Carriker had all the talent, but no heart.
But the end result will still be the same - they're both failures, and I fully expect St. Louis to draft the loser come Thursday. We're attracted to all the shitty defensive players.Comment

I haven't seen enough of Kerrigan to determine how good he will be in the NFL like you obviously have.Comment

I just want to apologize to Tailback - It's not his fault that Ryan Kerrigan is a talentless, completely overrated college player, who I wouldn't touch until the 5th or 6th round as a project player. It's also not Tailback's fault that my favorite team, is somehow attracted to the worst defensive players in recent memory. I'm just on edge, like I am every year, because when I hear Ryan's name called out on Thursday, it'll be about 3 to 4 years before I can stomach the team again.
Last year, when we drafted who ended up being one of the NFL's top 5 quarterbacks, I was overjoyed - I'm misleading myself by expecting the Rams to continue the good drafting. My apologies, Tailback.Comment

I accept your apology and extend one of my own for misunderstanding the direction of your initial comparison.
Let's never fight again.Comment

And the 2011 NFL Rookie of the Year is Ryan Mallett. Congrats Ryan.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

You guys misunderstand - I dislike Mallett's off the field behavior. I question his ability to lead an NFL team. I never said he doesn't have the tools to succeed. If you're looking for me to call out two quarterbacks who have zero chance of succeeding, you guys should be looking at the two main black quarterbacks in the draft - Cam Newton and that other guy called Colin Niggernick.
If I had to choose between the three, I'd rather see Ryan Mallett succeed.
