Are we picking players to add to our team, or are we starting from scratch along with every other team?

I understand your point with the Left Tackles (well taken)and their longevity but would you rather your first pick be a game breaker and then draft an O-Line in the second round.

Im sure Long and Thomas could go in the first but if you dont have anyone to throw, run, or catch the ball the LT doesnt matter that much, but I understand if you dont protect the QB's blindside doesnt matter who is throwing it or opening the holes. Me personally Id prefer the game breaker with my first pick and then in the second round take a top tackle

                Then do one.

Asomugha is a top CB but he's been in the league just as long as Samuel and had 0 INT and 19Tack/Ast last season. 6Pass Def

Haden is the next young gun there 50+ Tack/Ast 6 INTS
                Samuel is a hitter and 28 Tack/Ast 7 INTs

And dont give me they dont throw at him because of respect bullshit. Revis is the top CB in the game, missed one game more then Asomugha and had more tackles and PDef

Call me Ernie Accorsi but LOL at any franchise that would pass on good QBs for someone who may touch the ball up to 10 or 20 times in a game.

Its not because of respect its because Asomugha really does shutdown his side of the field I would take Asomugha over any CB in the NFL even Revis but as a team need in the 1st round CB would be one of the last positions I would pick, Stats such as INTs dont tell the whole story if it did why dont you have D Hall in the 1st round?

I guess this is why I shouldnt start threads, I thought this would get some people talking and draft a first round of anyone they can have.

its a great thread idea but whenever you post a ranking thread of players expect some criticism, wrong or right its just the fun of the thread

Hall sucks, He gets burnt just as much as he makes picks, plus 4 of his picks came vs Cutler in one game so...

Just like LaRon Landry, he'd rather hit a guy a guy and miss him then go for the ball.

                            I understand

No really wasnt suppose to ranking thread, its just who I thought would pick where and I was curious to see what other guys thought. I know you can argue Manning Brady 1-2 or do you take Rodgers 1 because he is very good and still young.

Do you take that Joe Thomas at 5 because he's the top LT in the game and will play for 12 years OR do you take AP and know he can hit a homerun everytime he touches the ball.
Thats all, just wanted to see what people thought.
