Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor sexual abuse for allegedly fondling the breast of his server in a hotel restaurant in Washington.

A grand jury returned an indictment formally charging Haynesworth over the alleged incident at a downtown Washington hotel in the early hours of Feb. 13. If convicted, the 29-year-old two-time All-Pro faces up to six months days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000

I want the lockout to at least be suspended just so the Redskins can cut his ass. How stupid can one person be, especially with $40 million guaranteed, plus the extra $60 million he could make if he showed up to practice and play while staying out of trouble.

I heard about this. Professional players sure know how to get themselves in trouble with the law now a days. It's always either a drug charge/DUI, gun charge, or a sexual assault, either of which are dumb charges when you have loads of money.

I thought this was a new incident, i was about to actually be surprised.


You know what his defense was? He said his waitress was black and she was mad his girlfriend who was with him, was white. He said he hasnt dated a black women in years and the waitress was jealous. Yeah im serious, his lawyer probably quit after he came out with that crap to the press. He also claims that the waitresses hands were full and he asked her if he could put his credit card in her apron pocket, she supposedly said yes and he did it and she claims he grabbed some tit while placing the card there. it seems the criminal chances in this case arent very likely or going through, but its setting the woman up for a civil suit.


I believe Fat Albert has had at least 4 lawsuits going on

He didnt pay back loans and is getting sued.
His ex wife is suing him saying he isnt paying her support and left their kids with zero income( god forbid a golddigger get a job)
A man he supposedly punched during a traffic incident is suing him.
A surefire civil suit is coming from these waitress charges.
A stripper is suing him for child support who he supposedly impregnated during Super Bowl weekend of 09 i believe. She claims Albert told her they were going to be together and he would take care of the child financially if they had sex.





Im definitely not defending Albert as a person, but I could definitely see this latest accusation of groping as being a money grab with everything else going on.

Of course he isn't guilty...........even if he's proven not guilty of sexual assault, he's still guilty of grand theft from the Redskins in the court of public opinion.

Haynesworth, who was not at his arraignment in D.C. Superior Court, is accused of sliding his credit card into the bra of a waitress and touching her breast during a birthday party at a Washington hotel in February. His lawyer said after the hearing that the accusation was false and that Haynesworth would defend himself at a trial set for July 11.

“The government’s version of what happened at the W Hotel a few months back is very different from our version—and we’ve got witnesses,” said defense lawyer A. Scott Bolden, who said his client was currently out of town. “The one thing I can tell you is my client didn’t do what he’s accused of doing.”

Bolden said he believed the accusation was trumped up because of Haynesworth’s celebrity status and wealth. Prosecutors last month offered a plea deal in which the sexual abuse charge would be dropped in exchange for Haynesworth pleading guilty to simple assault. But Bolden rejected that offer in court Tuesday.

The sexual abuse charge carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.

Haynesworth, 29, has had a tumultuous recent run with the Redskins.

Haynesworth, who last season was in the second year of a seven-year, $100 million contract, was suspended without pay for the final four games of 2010 for “conduct detrimental to the club” and feuded regularly with coach Mike Shanahan. He also skipped offseason workouts and failed to pass a conditioning test at the start of training camp.

In January, one month before the sexual abuse accusation was made, Haynesworth was accused of road rage in Fairfax County, Va., by a man who claimed he was tailgated and then assaulted by the All-Pro defensive tackle. Haynesworth is awaiting a trial in that case. Haynesworth’s agent has said his client is innocent.
