Jordan Diamond will not be signing with Ohio State... that much I know for sure.

Apparently there has been no contact between the staff and Diamond since his official visit (the weekend of December 9th).

With National Signing Day in a week, college coaches are feverishly trying to wrap up their classes and secure uncommitted prospects. That includes Florida’s Will Muschamp, who has taken one unusual step in trying to land Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes athlete Josh Harvey-Clemons – going to church.

Now, Georgia coach Mark Richt will be attending service to try to land the state’s top uncommitted prospect. Rivals.com ranks Harvey-Clemons as the No. 2 athlete nationally.

After checking with the NCAA manual, nothing seems to be against the rules. The recruiting section does not include anything about going to a recruit’s church or giving an offering there, but I’ve got a call in the NCAA to double check.

Richt going to church? This is too easy.

Texas last 4 offers are to Cottrell, Daje Johnson, Santos, and DGB.

Here's to nabbing all of them.

ND is gonna limp into signing day. I don't see them signing anyone else of value.

50/50 right now... Urban has not had his in-home yet and that will pretty much tell the story of where things stand.

Ricardo Louis Decommits From Florida State, Will Choose Auburn Or FSU

                        Figures....

After the high of an official visit to Tallahassee wore off, Ricardo Louis realized he wasn't ready to be committed to any school. He will decide between Auburn and Florida State on National Signing Day (February 1st)

Thanks Matt for the previous info

Menelik Watson, one of the top JUCO offensive line recruits in the country, has committed to the Florida State Seminoles over the Auburn Tigers. He plays for Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.

"He committed yesterday, to coach Trickett to be exact. He can't want to get on campus and get started as he knows he has catching up to do. He played two years for me at the Canarias Basketball Academy in Spain. He was my team captain and one of the best kids I've ever been around. Coach Trickett told him the difference between his first and last game at Saddleback was amazing. Jimbo was out there to see him as well, and felt the same way (that the physical set Menelik had, very few people in All of football had!)," said Rob Orellana, Watson's basketball coach and close friend from his playing days in Spain.
[Watson's phone got shut off, and he was unavailable for comment. Orellana, who is extremely close to Watson, assured me that Watson did want the info out and was not trying to keep it a secret.]

Watson is rated three or four-stars by most recruiting services, and also holds offers from Cal, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Rutgers. He is an athletic freak. A former basketball player at Marist University, he left college basketball to pursue a career in football. Watson is 6'7", 330 pounds and has incredibly light feet for a man of his size, thanks to playing soccer growing up in England.

As you can see from his film, he does not have a lot of football experience. But oh, that athleticism. If ever there was a kid with athletic ability that a coach would want to mold into a player, this is the guy. Watson has the long arms that one would expect him to have, and does not appear to be sloppy from the photos I have seen. With Watson, Florida State will have six upperclassmen offensive linemen, and a total of 14 offensive linemen who are in their second year of eligibility or greater.

We can fit 4-5 more guys in our class...

Very likely = LB Jamal Marcus, S Demetrious Cox
50/50 = ATH Davonte Neal, CB Armani Reeves
                            Longshot = ATH Stephon Diggs

Auburn went over the top with their bid.

Let's see if FSU can match.

Word on the skreet...its a big recruiting weekend for Miami.

We got ourselves a legitimate chance with Tracy Howard. He'll be here for his last official...all of his boys will be there selling. Malcolm Lewis, Deon Bush (his two bff's), and Duke Johnson will all take unofficial visits to continue selling him.

I don't think we land him, but its good to see he's going to give us a legitimate chance. He's a stud.

Antoinio Crawford, is rumored to be taking a visit to Miami. If he does, I gotta assume he'll be coming here, since Paul Johnson typically takes a scholly away from commits who go on officials, especially this late in the game. We'll see. He had a big game in the State Title Game covering Miami commitment Malcolm Lewis.

Also going to get an official from DE Leonard Williams. I don't expect any of them to end up at Miami. Also, we might get a visit from Josh Harvey-Clemons...again, I don't expect him to go to Miami, but a visit is a visit, and if its on the last weekend before signing day...can't ask for more than that.

Also, a couple guys we're watching on signing day...RB Davonte Bourque, DT Dequan Ivey, OT Avery Young, DT Eddie Goldman, LB Reggie Northrup, DB PJ Williams, and CB DaCarlos Renfro.

Those are kind of the names 'Canes fans will watch on Signing Day...most won't sign, as Miami has like 2 spots open. Random guess...we somehow pull Howard out of our ass (its Miami or Florida, IMO)...and we'll take Crawford if he visits and Johnson pulls his scholly. That's a perfect world kinda scenario, I guess.

Obviously I'd love Williams or Goldman, but no chance, IMO. I'd like to hold on Northrup, too...but Florida State is probably going to clean house on Signing Day.
