Gunner Kiel decommits from Indiana. Will visit ND this weekend.

Surprising as I don't think ND was even planning on taking a QB this cycle. Maybe he's looking at USC?

So. Cal has landed a top 3 QB in the past two classes, not sure what the QB situation looks like for you guys, but if playing means anything to Gunner I wouldn't think he would be considering them.

I don't think there is anyway ND even gets him at this point. Oklahoma Alabama would all be better choices for him and ND has sdepth at QB already with Hendrix, Golson, and Rees only being a Soph. Plus ND will have tough chocies to makenext year with scholarships and 5th year guys anyways. I'm not sure they want to spend a scholly on a kid who will most likely be a 4th or 5th string QB next season depending on his Crist comes back.

Sure I'd like to have him for depth purposes but I'm already for Golson.

Not sure I put a lot of stock in Gunner going to the game tomorrow. His uncle played for ND and I'm sure he has tickets. It's one of the biggest games in the country tomorrow so a kid with a famous relative who went to ND going to the game tomorrow I'm not sure is that big of a recruiting visit. Could just be him going to watch a big game with the family too.

It is because Rees hasn't been looking like the solid QB of the future now, with Crist on his way out.

Plus it will be a crazy game.

And plus Indiana sucks, and that whole homeboy kid coming to save the program thing must have become less important. He realizes his talent level would just be wasted at that program.

That was a rough game to watch. Both sides of the ball looked awful for most of the first half, and the turnovers popped up again in the second half. I think the defense really missed Ethan Johnson today, and having Lo Wood cover Robert Woods in the redzone was a terrible idea.
