Rich Eisen's Idea: No More Tipping Picks

A popular sentiment this year, Eisen suggests the NFL institute a rule prohibiting teams from calling draft picks while they are on the clock.

Or the TV networks could you know, stop cutting to the shot of the player on the phone?

I'm for anything that gives the draft some actual suspense.

When I read the title I thought that it meant that players on defense couldn't intercept the ball once a pass had been tipped into the air. Which made me think Rich Eisen was fucking brain dead.

I was working during the first two days of the draft, so I put ESPN's drafttracker on the front computer. It had picks and the chat box. Only the picks updated and not the chatbox, so that was actually some suspense for me.

I know no one wants to follow it online unless they have to, but something needs to be done to make it more interesting.

Great idea, it really gets on my nervous when a team is on the clock and someone is crying. It's a given.

I had enough faith in Rich Eisen not to think that, he should be the commissioner.

lol @ not showing the players on camera at the draft. Who the fuck wants to look at Berman's fat face for that long?

I they stopped inviting the players to the draft all together, I probably wouldnt even notice for the first few picks.

Yep, I'm in agreement here too. It's sad that, most of the draft, gets "suspenseful" after the 3rd round

                            A) The Networks need to stop cutting to these guys in the green room or via stream from their house.

                            B) The Networks need to stop trying to take guesses when they already know who the pick is...its not cute. If you want to be completely in the dark or guess the picks based on work done before the draft, go ahead...but guessing these picks when someone in your ear told you the pick or you just noticed Player B crying in the green room ain't cute.
