OOBL's Way Too Early 2012 Mock

    1. Washington - Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford - Washington is a mess, and they need to get a QB badly to try and right the ship.

    2. Cincinnatti - Matt Kalil, OT, USC - I really wasn't too sure who to place here, but Kalil could be the best value here.

    3. Minnesota - Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford - Minnesota's line seems to get worse each year and it's time to replace McKinnie.

    4. Arizona - Matt Barkley, QB, USC - Assuming that the Cardinals haven't made a trade for a QB, if they sign Bulger then Barkley can sit at least 1 year.

    5. Denver - Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama - Kirkpatrick is athletic and has incredible size, Denver's secondary will need some help.

    6. Carolina - Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina - Jeffery is one of my favorite players in this class, and gives Cam a target that will be very hard to miss.

    7. Tennessee - Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina - Sooner or later the Titans will have to draft another great corner to contain Indy and Houston.

    8. Seattle - Quinten Coples, DE, North Carolina - Pass rush is a big need for Seattle, but they can go anywhere with this pick, could be QB.

    9. Miami - Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma - Sparano won't stay unless they have an incredible season, new coach, new QB.

    10. Buffalo - Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa - Whoever Buffalo has at QB will need much better blocking, Reiff can start day 1.

    11. Jacksonville - Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska - I considered WR here, but I think after using so many picks on the D-line it's clear Jacksonville is drafting for their defense.

    12. Cleveland - Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma St - Greg Little alone may not satisfy Holmgren enough, McCoy can use another target that can turn a 5 yd slant into a TD.

    13. San Francisco - Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State - I think Worthy can play DT or DE, and Franklin may not stay in San Fran for very long.

    14. Oakland - Nick Foles, QB, Arizona - Disregard this pick, take the fastest guy... Maybe a Robert Griffin pick change is in order.

    15. New York Giants - Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama - If Bradshaw continues to fumble and Jacobs continues to decline then the Giants may have to draft Richardson.

    16. Houston - Cliff Harris, CB, Oregon - Rush OLB may make more sense, but that secondary is terrible, Harris is an excellent return guy too.

    17. Kansas City - Brandon Jenkins, OLB, Florida State - Jenkins will most likely be a tweener, and Tamba Hali needs a force on the opposite side.

    18. Detroit - Nate Potter, OT, Boise St. - If Stafford doesn't stay on his feet he will continue to break, maybe move Backus to RT and have Potter start at LT.

    19. Tampa Bay - Chase Minnifield, CB, Virginia - Who knows what's happening with Talib, and Ronde can't go on forever.

    20. Cleveland (From Atlanta) - Vontaze Burfict, LB, Arizona State - Burfict should improve a weak spot for the Browns as they continue to work on their defense.

    21. San Diego - Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame - Malcolm Floyd and Vincent Jackson probably won't stick around, Michael Floyd has the size that the Chargers love.

    22. New York Jets - Donte Paige-Moss, OLB, North Carolina - The Jets can only ignore their pass rush for so long, WR is a possibility here also.

    23. St. Louis - Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame - Te'o and Laurinaitis could end up being one of the better young LB tandems in the league.

    24. Dallas - Courtney Upshaw, LB, Alabama - I'm not sure if Upshaw will end up playing inside or outside, but he's a very good player and Dallas has a few aging LB's.

    25. Pittsburgh - Matt Reynolds, OT, BYU - Pittsburgh never seems to have too big of a weakness outside of secondary and offensive line each year.

    26. Indianapolis - Mike Brewster, C, Ohio State - Saturday's replacement could maybe even play at Guard until he retires.

    27. Chicago - Jeff Fuller, WR, Texas A&M - Chicago needs to provide Cutler with a big target that can find the endzone.

    28. New England (From New Orleans) - Jared Crick, DE/DT, Nebraska - Crick just seems like a Patriots pick to me.

    29. New England - Kelechi Osemele, G, Iowa State - Pats need to keep working on making that line younger.

    30. Philadelphia - Marcus Forston, DT, Miami - Not sure where Bunkley and Patterson will be at this point, but with Dixon playing well this season I'm sure Philly wouldn't mind another Miami DT.

    31. Baltimore - Ray Ray Armstrong, S, Miami - Continue improving that secondary in Baltimore, Ed Reed is not getting any younger and Landry won't stick around.

    32. Green Bay - Mohamed Sanu, WR, Rutgers - Driver may be playing in his last year, CB would be a good pick, but why not give Aaron Rodgers even more targets?

A guy I'd be interested in for the Jaguars would be Andre Branch from Clemson.

I like Branch too, but I wanna see how productive he can be without somebody like Bowers putting together such a good season and taking all that pressure off of him this past season... actually same can be said for the majority of these guys

The only two that I would think would be within reason is St. Louis and Detroit, St. Louis most likely wins NFC West therefore is a playoff team, and Detroit was in every game last year, played great, and with backup QB's most the time, Raiders take away Asomugha (I don't care what you think or say, he's going to leave for a huge contract on a contender).

TB doesn't need a 1st round CB, but Burfict or (my preference) Teo would be a godsend. I wouldn't be against Ray Ray either.

I don't know about us going Safety first round. They will need a replacement soon, but they also need help on the opposite side of Suggs. Also I haven't seen a lot of Armstrong so I'm not sure how good he is, but Safety wise from the ones I know I'd be looking to get Janzen Jackson (if he comes out) or Mark Barron.

Really don't know who I'd want us to take this early, I'll have more of an idea halfway through the season or towards the end of it.

Kenny Tate, Mark Barron and Ray Ray will be the three most talked about safeties coming into the season.
