Next year's QB class looks to be really strong.....

How many 1st round picks does UNC have playing on defense? I'm actually impressed at the amount of pros UNC has put out in recent years...too bad that hasn't really translated to on the field dominance.

I think it would of if they all got to play last year, butch is doing a great job bringing in defensive talent, and the WR's coming out of there are pretty dam impressive too.

Oakland and Kansas City are the two picks that stick out to me here as wrong, I don't think Trent lasts that long, nor would Kansas City grab him because Jones is still producing and Charles is excellent, and Oakland has so much money invested on those old guys, and they would prob kick Houston inside rather then draft a DT and pay another guy big bucks. Cliff Harris could def go to Oakland IMO.

Agreed. The emergence of John Beck will be the reason why. I was a fan of his out of college and this guy never really got a shot. Hopefully Shanny can show him the light.

When FA returns, I believe Shanny will go get a different QB from Grossman or Beck.

Even then.. Grossman or Beck won't lead the Skins to the worst record in football. The Redskins schedule is favorable to avoid this as well (NFC West + bottom feeders Carolina and Buffalo.. etc)

They're not going the 1-15, 2-14, 3-13 it would take to be in contention for the #1 overall pick.
