The two players are very dissimilar.
    On behalf of r29j...

You and most here are one of the most simplest trolls on earth. Ignorant fool.

all Randy's stats benefited no one and barely himself, he aint nothin' but a great nothin' in the football world or anywhere else like the rest of you morons...as a matter of fact, he should be the poster boy of this site because he seems to embody the ignorance that fools like you stand for as though its important to do so

Randy is just Andre Rison with more numbers and there aint nothin great about that...its sad, most guys after a few years start to wake up and get it and mature...not Randy, him and Owens are two of the longest lasting dumb asses in NFL history...much like most of you here...
I'm sure each team he was on that went to the playoffs would disagree that his numbers "only benefited" himself. Moss was a key cog, and perhaps the most important parts of teams that went 15-1 and 16-0. You can't blame either of their short comings in the playoffs on him.

          This.

The 15-1 Vikings lost by 3 pts vs the Falcons, when Gary Anderson missed for the first time all season in the NFC Championship game. Anderson was 100% all year long, 35 of 35, but missed the most important kick of his career...Not Randy's fault who had 6 catches, 75 yards and a TD.

The 16-0 Patriots lost because Jesus loves the NY Giants. Not because Randy had 5 catches for 62 yards and a TD.

Which would have been the game winner had the Pats defense not choked on it.

              Precisely.

And let's not forget the 188 yards and 2 TD's Moss put up the following year when the Vikings lost to the Rams in the Divisional round.

No, you can forget those numbers.

Vikings trailed something like 45-14 with around 10 minutes left, then racked up a bunch of garbo stats.

I see it as it was fucking game time. Win or lose, and Moss came up huge with two forth quarter TDs. Of course they were down by a gazillion points, they were up against Warner/Faulk/Holt/Bruce/and company. Moss can't help the fact that his defense sucked. Moss had fucktard Jeff George throwing him the ball, it's no wonder they were down a ton.

But look a week earlier when Moss helped route the Cowboys with 127 yds and a score to beat them 27-10. He's obviously not the reason why his teams have lost in the past.

you see simpleton... you are still trying to talk about his numbers as though they are valuable to anything important..and they are not. He was a whiny , dumb ass, childish, moron, then and he still is today. His big numbers mean nothing to the masses because he didnt learn how to relate to the masses and still hasnt. ..and yes, I can blame him for his teams playoff short comings, because he was on a TEAM and didnt help with the ultimate prize because he has always been, all about himself.

At the end of the day, nobody will remember this. What they will remember is top 2 in TDs, top 5(maybe higher) in yardage, top 5(maybe higher) in receptions, top, top, top, top...............second best WR of all time.

Yeah because all great players are REALLY personable.

                          Do not care.

If anything the "simpletons" will dismiss him simply for his attitude. While real fans will remember him for what he was...one of the greats.

project ? its called wisdom. Randy moss will be an afterthought as soon as he is done playing and thanks to pass happy rules, his numbers will be in the backround soon as well.

your "real fans" comment is about as pointless as it gets as well.
Randy moss was /is a joke as a man and until he sounds humble and intelligent, his numbers will mean nothing to the world, to football, to anyone ....enough of this petty crap, time to waste else where.....

Don't care. I'm not evaluating him as a person. I'm evaluating him as a football player.
