Really doesn't make much sense to me. Much more successful teams will offer similar deals. No offense to the Lions, but didn't he get sick of losing so damn much when he played for the Raiders? The Lions are up and coming, but they are not there yet and they're not getting past the Packers any time soon.

And this time last year most people said there was no way the Packers would get past the Vikings. The Lions gave up so many games last year because they couldn't stop the big play. If Asomugha can lock down that deep threat, the Lions could be a great team as long as their young offense develops as it is projected to.

He signed a massive deal with the Raiders last year. I don't think he minds losing, even though he won't be on a losing team next year if he signs with the Lions....

Nnami clearly has grown to enjoy losing.

I still don't believe he'll wind up with the Lions.

I would love him but not if that means we cant lockup some of our other key parts that will be up for FA in the next 2 years.

LOL. Every year everyone thinks the Lions are going to break out. Well all be saying the same thing this time next year.

On another note, there's no way this happens. Give me one good reason a guy who will get big money offers from a lot of different teams would want to play in Detroit. Why would any player want to play in Detroit?

It'll definitely make Detroit users on Madden happy.

You're acting like these are the Matt Millen Detroit Lions. Guess what? They aren't. There is a reason that players are actually wanting to go to Detroit, to be apart of something special.

The rest of the NFC North showing their true colors. Be afraid.

The Lions haven't been champions for like 53 years I think??

agreed. that d-line is gonna be nasty and if they can get some ball hawk corners the offense can suck ass all it wants. nothing wrong with winning 6-0. it is still a W.
