Michael Johnson will probably end up being like a Vernon Gholston. He has all the measurables and may be a workout warrior. That doesn't always translate to an NFL stud. He takes plays off and doesn't dominate.

In the NFL Draft there won't be just one or two gems though. There will be a lot of successful players.

I can't wait to see how Donald Brown turns out. He has the strength, a nasty ass stiff arm, the endurance and pretty good speed. A good combine could shoot him up but he will probably be a mid 2nd round pick

I think Johnson might benefit from a tough as nails coach. If someone could get him to give it his all he'd have the ability to be a stud in this league. He definitely has the physical abilities.

A few people sold on Josh Freeman.

          I'm not buying it.

Rey Maualuga will be a rock at the MLB spot on some team for 10 years.

I really think Clay Matthews Jr. will pan out to have a good NFL career, don't think many people know about him just yet.

Nuk I agree .. I've defended Josh Freeman before but I'm not real sold on him myself. What did Kansas State do the past 3 years? They beat Texas once that's about it.

Just don't see him being that great.

Well thanks for clearing that up son.

Obviously, stats are going to padded if your playing with a Brady-Manning type of quarterback rather than a Thigpen-Hasselback skilled kind of guy. But if we're talking studs here, then it really shouldn't matter what team they're on, they'll make an impact anyways. Matt Ryan is a stud. Chris Johnson is a stud. Joe Flacco is not a stud.

Anyways, I think the obvious choice here is to lean with Crabtree or Nicks, especially with the hype surrounding them. I can see either of them performing great in their first Sunday game. A couple of other guys I think will be super sexy productive are Stafford and Harvin. I'd love to see Indy snag Harvin is he's still around, and I think Matt has the tools to run a successful offense should he get some more help in Detroit, assuming that's who takes him.

As for some late round surprises, Donald Brown and Nate Davis. Brown was relatively overshadowed by powerhouse teams, and he's underappreciated. Somewhere, he'll find a good back to follow behind and jump in the driver's seat when he's ready. I think Davis has tremendous abililty too. I'd love to see an NFL team successfully develop a naturally-scrambling QB, and Davis has that and more to do what needs to be done with the big boys.

Harvin would be sooo dangerous in our offense.. it'll never happen though.

I mean, I'd love to see it happen, but on the other hand, I don't see it happening. Take a couple of DT's off the board, and we may have a shot, SHOULD he still be around. I don't think people will pass on him that much though.

In all honesty, if Raji, Harvin, or another top receiver are all gone, I wouldn't mind at all to see the Colts trade down and bring in some help in the slot with the pick.

                          He has all the intangibles.

Size, Speed, Power, Accuracy. All he needs is someone who can coach him up to NFL speed.

Chase Coffman?? I have saw several mock drafts with the panthers taking him in the 2nd rd.
