    Pure speculation: Brett Favre

Once the NFL lockout is eventually lifted and teams begin a compressed offseason, hundreds of personnel moves are to be made.

Not a rumor, just a thought. Would Brett Favre going to Arizona make sense? While I wish the guy would stay retired, and would stay happy being retired, him going to Arizona, to me, would make sense. That way they can wait until next year to get their guy.

Don't want to start a flame war or some shit, just want to see if you guys think this would make sense.

I don't believe a word of it. Now if the starting QB for a contending team goes down in the first half of the season though, all bets are off.

But in all seriousness, I think Favre could be a good stop gap for the Cardinals. At this point, he's an average quarterback. The only problem would be the media going insane, but otherwise he'd be a serviceable starter.

Yes, I know we all don't want sports center/any other sports show dominated by him, but it would make sense.

                    Echoing somewhat on Bill's thought..

I don't think there's a question that he would be a good fit for what the Cardinals want as a stop gap. The problem is I don't think the Cardinals are a good fit for what Brett Favre wants. The Cardinals with or without Brett Favre aren't contenders for a SB and therefore I can't see any way Favre would even consider this.

A contending team, on the other hand, I'm sure he'd at least give thought.

He should go back to G.B. Rodgers is bad for the league.

He's not coming back. This is just speculation from Brandt.. has nothing to do with Favre's intentions
