Nope, don't care so long as its taken care of by training camp. My team doesn't have any rookies that were going to make an immediate impact anyway, and that's really who benifits most from the shit before training camp, the rookies.Comment

I care. Starved for Packer news. Worst off season for a lockout to happen. I want to bask in the Glory of what is a GB championship and there is little news and it's all about the lockout.
Hell, (Out of respect, I always call him Pres. Obama, but I can't here), that blanking bears fan still hasn't had GB to the White house. Impeach his A$$.Comment

Don't even think about it, I hope the season gets canceled actuallyLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

The NBA lockout is much more interesting, because 1) it shows once again that David Stern is the biggest fraud in sports history, and 2) there is actually a chance that the upcoming season won't take place.
The NFL stuff is just lame-ass posturing. We could have f16harm represent the owners and Pitty represent the players, and a deal would STILL get done.

The NFL has allowed exceptions for charity events and the championship ring ceremony. I think they can do the White House. Impeach that bears fans A$$.Comment

I'm trying not to let it bother me, but it's starting to.
I love the training camp news. I love the pictures of new draft picks and freshly signed FA's jogging around. I love the puff pieces on the new defensive systems and I love the hope that each teams fanbase has for the upcoming season (before all the 49er fans remember Alex Smith is still Alex Smith, before Matthew Stafford breaks his ribs and is out for 12 weeks, before I get fresh evidence to eviscerate the Vikings with, etc).
I love the fantasy draft scouting, I love getting excited for the first preseason game and realizing 10 minutes into it that its just preseason and i dont understand why im so excited.... and then i watch every fucking game on nfl network anyway. in fact. nfl network is pretty much the only thing i watch all preseason. I BECOME football.
I am not ashamed to admit the sport is as much a part of my life as sex, eating, sleeping. with the advent of the internet the NFL season never really ends unless its fucking locked out because rich assholes cant agree with how rich to make each other. I live and die with my Packers and after the worst year of my life the Superbowl run carried me through some dark days.
Fuck yes I miss football.
and fuck the folks in this thread who are pretending to not give a shit just to look cool on the internetComment

I don't give a shit at all. I actually won't even care if the season is cancelled because I'll just spend that time doing something instead of just sitting on the couch like a sack of shit for 10 hours.
This entire thing just makes me lose respect for the owners and players. I hate what the sport has become. I really don't want to spend my day watching these idiots play a child's game and whine about making millions of dollars but I am a sucker and I will (assuming there is no lockout).Comment

Not really right now.
I'd miss the season a bit, but NFL has slowly lost my interest over the years. Don't get me wrong, I've went from "obsessed" to just plain "following".
Too much drama, too greedy (excessive commercials and over the top BS during games, just fucking focus on football or otherwise shut the fuck up...I mean I don't care who's sponsoring 2nd and 8 plays in the 3rd quarter of this game)...Comment
