LOL. It's not shocking that he'd claim the mag twisted his words when the quotes come back on him negatively.

    More:

"They take 10 plays out of 4,000 snaps and want to know my thought process on each. What I tried to explain to Goodell, but he was too stupid to understand, is that dudes crouch when you go to hit them. With Massaquoi, my target area was his waist and chest, but he lowered himself at the last possible second and I couldn't adjust to his adjustment. But Goodell, who's a devil, ain't hearing that. Where's the damn discretion, the common sense?"
"Clay Matthews, who's all hype — he had a couple of three-sack games in the first four weeks and was never heard from again — I'm quite sure I saw him put his helmet on Michael Vick and never paid a dime. But if I hit Peyton Manning or Tom Brady high, they'd have fucked around and kicked me out of the league."
"I hate those motherfuckers, especially those two clowns [Rodney Harrison and Teddy Bruschi] who talked about me after the fines. ... Sayin' I'm dirty — shit, Harrison was the dirtiest player ever, a steroid cheater who was known by the whole world to be a headhunter and late hitter. And Bruschi's an idiot, straight-up simple. I'd like to meet them both in a dark alley."
"When you hit a dude hard, you feel it, too, and the Steelers go at play-to-die speeds. But if, God forbid, I wind up having brain damage, so be it. That's something I'll have to deal with down the road."

True. I don't have an issue with what he said about Goodell, but why blast your teammates in public like that. It doesn't help.

          Come on now.

As a rival of Pittsburgh, I say keep talking. I couldn't give a rat's ass about Steelers fans, sucks to be them if this hurts them and I'm all the more pleased by it.
It's not going to hurt the team one bit, unless he gets suspended. Other than that I'm not worried. Mendenhall and Ben are confident enough to shake it off and keep moving forward.

Also, you guys saying you wouldn't want Harrison on your team have to be kidding me. This guy is one of the best OLB's in the game today. You also have to take into consideration how banged up our front 3 has been, which only makes it harder on our LBs. He's better than his numbers and his on field personality is exactly what you want from an NFL LB. Harrison is yet another prime example in our long line of talented and nasty LBs. From Jack Lambert to Gregg Lloyd and now Harrison, and recently Porter as well.

Say what you want about them, but those are the type of guys you'd rather be with than against. Have your soft, politically correct, and docile players. I'll gladly cheer on the ones who didn't cut off their balls when they joined the league.

I feel like he insults his teammates in the locker room enough to wear they don't care. Everyone seems like its something they hear all the time behind closed doors

But i got a feeling he could be dealt with pretty harshly. Because his comments on the commish is one thing, but when you start calling out the heads of your team (Raplesburger, Mendenhall, etc...) you cause a rift.

I personally wouldn't be surprised to see Harrison dealt to another team.
well, it is better than being accused of murder...

                  yea, i said it... homer.

ben did play like shit and mendy coughed up a fumble that cost us the game. i like hearing defensive guy talk shit about a suck ass offense. of course, if they could have slowed down green bay it wouldnt have been and issue, but real is always entertaining.

You mean, like the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS? Didn't Clifton own your "everybody wants him on there team" linebackers ass in the Super Bowl? Didn't your nasty, all omnipotent LB have only one tackle in the Super Bowl? And I don't want to hear any excuses about injuries. You lost to one of the only teams that has any right to say anything about injuries. You know, the Super Bowl Champs. Go take your "owe they're picking on my dumbass, disappearing act in Super Bowl LB" crying towel someplace else.

I'd rather hear it from a guy that actually did something in the Super Bowl. Hell, if Harrison would have had more than one tackle, then maybe he can talk. The rule should be that if you disappear in the SB, you should not be allowed to talk smack.

EDIT: I feel like I should say something positive about the Steelers cause they do have one of the better organizations in the league. And Coach Tomlin showed what kind of a class act he was at the end of the SB, and during his press conference after the game. I liked Coach Tomlin before that. I even have a lot more respect for him after how he handled himself after the game.

Yeah and he did nothing in the other super bowl he played in or had nothing to do with why they were there this past year either.

He's out of line, while hilarious, but stop acting like this is Ryan Clark.

I think everyone on the team knows his personality and isn't going to be too hurt by what he said. Completely different story if it's someone like Hines Ward, which we've kinda seen in the past and they've gotten past it.
