Completely ripping off Senser's idea and format because I liked it, I'm bored, and it can't be any worse than some of the other threads in here.
QB - Matt Cassel - B-
Had a good year, statistically. Helped the Chiefs get to the playoffs. Then posted a 20.4 QB rating vs. Baltimore. Needs to not deepthroat cock during crunch time.
HB - Jamaal Charles - A
One of the best weapons in the league. Threat to break a big play every time he touches the ball.
FB - Shane Bannon - C
7th round draft pick. He's a big fucker, and he went to Yale, so he must be smart. I don't know, I'm putting about as much effort into this grade as offensive coordinators put into making fullbacks part of their game plans.
TE - Tony Moeaki - B
Nice year for a rookie. Solid all-around player. Barring injuries, should have a good carrer.
WR - Dwayne Bowe - A-
Todd Haley has really been after D-Bowe about his work ethic since he became head coach. It finally paid off last season with a more focused, slimmer, faster Bowe leading the league in TD grabs.
WR - Jon Baldwin - B-
Huge, good speed, and excellent vertical leap. But, no idea how he will adapt to the KC offense and facing NFL defenses. Should at least be a viable red zone threat with his size and teams focusing on Bowe.
LT - Branden Albert - B-
Hasn't made the smoothest transition from guard to tackle. Still has upside. Inconsistent in pass protection, but shows his athleticism when he is out in space on running plays and screens.
LG - Jon Asamoah - C+
Was a rookie last year, but played well in limited snaps. Was considered a high quality prospect out of Illinois. I think Brian Waters might get released.
C - Rodney Hudson - C+
Rookie center, undersized...could go horribly wrong. But, Hudson was a great pick, IMO. Very technically sound, smart player. Casey Wiegmann might be coming back, but he's old as fuck and tiny, so I'm going with Hudson here.
RG - Ryan Lilja - B-
He's consistent. Nothing special, but decent in all aspects and fits the blocking scheme well.
RT - Barry Richardson - C-
Pretty good run blocker. Gets shit on in pass protection too often. Still has potential though, and amazingly does well in spot duty at LT.
K - Ryan Succup - B
Was nails as a rookie, but fell off a little last year. I still think he's pretty good.
