Why would you bring up arguably the most recognizable college football player of all time to represent the student athletes as a whole. If you are going to have a pay scale how are you going to balance it out? How much do you pay one five star recruit opposed to another? Shit gets too messy and it's not fair just to pay college football players, and just the "Tim Tebows". Like Hass said, the good players will make it to the NFL and the bad ones got a free degree from a top university in the country, seems pretty fair to me.

I'm of the mindset that scholarships should have wording that forces a player to pay back all tuition if they are found to violate NCAA rules by taking money.Comment

I respect that the players get a free scholarship FirstTimer ... but let's be honest, the schools get way more out of the deal than the players.
Tim Tebow? Worth more than $40,000 a year to the U. of Florida while he was there.
The NCAA has to come up with a pay scale for Division 1 football and basketball.
Why stop at college, I'm sure Tim Tebow brought in a ton of money for his high school. All the while still having to pay for lunch and other school fees like the students who brought in 0 dollars.Comment
