QB - Mark Sanchez: B-
Coming off a mediocre sophomore campaign, Sanchez threw more TD's than INTs for the Jets, a big improvement over his rookie year. His solid play in the playoffs buoys his grade above the C-level, but he will need to perform with much more consistency in 2011 if he wants to live up to the 5th overall hype.
RB - Shonn Greene: B-
He's known as a bruiser back, but last season was supposed to be his breakout season. Instead, he took the back seat to seasoned vet and future HOF back Ladainian Tomlinson. Greene will need to step up this season or could quickly be replaced by McKnight or Powell, two mid round draft selections in the past two drafts.
FB - John Conner: B-
Assuming the veteran Tony Richardson doesn't make a return to the Jets, John Conner gets his grade widely due to his inexperience. If he truly turns out to be a "terminator" as widely rumored, than his stock could soar.
WR1 - Santonio Holmes: A-
Clutch play after clutch play make it a no-brainer for the Jets to make "Tone" the #1 priority this offseason. He made more game changing plays and TD winning catches last season than Braylon Edwards had drops.
WR2 - Braylon Edwards: B+
To Braylon's credit, he only had 2 drops last season, but he was not nearly as clutch a performer as Holmes was. Nonetheless, Edwards is a fine blocker and a hell of a downfield target. He also seems to love playing in NY and has great rapport with 3rd Yr. QB, Mark Sanchez. It wouldn't surprise me to see Edwards back in NY alongside Holmes.
TE - Dustin Keller: B-
When he's hot, he's hot. When he's cold, you might as well not even have him on the field. He's a nightmare to cover due to his size/speed combination, but this young TE has much to learn and can not string together solid performances after 3 seasons. Expect more jekkyl and hyde this season from DK.
LT - D'Brickashaw Ferguson: A
You won't see Sanchez on the ground because of D'brick. It took a few years to develop, but he's quietly turned into one of the games best and locks down the blind side game after game.
LG - Matt Slauson: C+
Strong as hell but not nearly as consistent as you want from a starting guard. Slauson improved as the season went on but there still much room for improvement to keep his QB upright and his RB from getting blasted behind the line.
C - Nick Mangold: A
One of the most valuable players on the team, Mangold manhandles Nose Tackles twice his size and can recognize a defense and adjust signals better than anyone. The main cog in this top-tier offensive line, Mangold will continue to dominate his opponents.
RG - Brandon Moore: A-
A main reason the Jets are able to run the ball so well. Take a guess what side they favor their runs to? Moore could be the best run blocker on this line. It's a toss-up between him and Mangold....
RT - Vlad Ducasse: D+
Damien Woody will be missed, but it's time for Big Vlad to take over. His 2010 showing was piss poor to start, but left a good impression to end the season. In all honesty, Vlad finished the season against the Bills who got destroyed on the ground by every team. If it doesn't click this season, Sanchez better be ready to scramble quite a bit...
