I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles make a push for him. Linebackers are a glaring weak spot for them right now, and to add a linebacker like Tatupu would be huge for their defense. Someone who is going to give it their all and can lead the defense.

Does anybody know the reason why free agents aren't allowed to practice until Thursday? I've been trying to think of a reason but I'm drawing a blank.

Bills agreed to terms with ILB Nick Barnett on a three-year, $12 million contract.
The Bills won't be rolling with underwhelming vets Reggie Torbor and Andra Davis at after all. Barnett has plenty of experience at inside linebacker in Green Bay, and he's set to replace Paul Posluszny in Buffalo. A highly productive defender with sideline-to-sideline range, Barnett averaged 109 tackles in his first seven seasons with the Packers. He's a major upgrade. The Redskins are expected to turn to Channing Crowder now that Barnett is off the market.

Two knee surgeries recently I believe have resulted in him taking a step backwards.

Apparently it has something to do with the start of the league year and that is also the day that teams have to be under the salary cap.
