If I'm Jim Harbaugh, Colin Kaepernick isn't seeing the damn field this year at all and isn't getting a shot next year until he hits the damn weight room.

I feel like one good kill shot from a pass rusher and he's broken in two.

Man McClain to Kansas city is a great deal, he'll be a great spell for Charles. Beast backfield, the chiefs are getting pretty good looking asof late, might surprise some.

The Rams wisely didn't stop their search for a backup running back when they signed Jerious Norwood Tuesday. While Williams and his bionic knees certainly aren't explosive, he'd be capable of carrying a decent-sized workload if Steven Jackson were to go down. Caddy could also end up spelling Jackson on some third downs, but would barely get any early-down reps as long as S-Jax is healthy.
            Mortensen is lost, as usual.

Jackson barely plays on third down anymore, which is why you don't see him catching 50+ balls these days. The plan the last two years to help lighten his workload was to stop using him on third downs so much.

Maybe the 9ers are trying to edge ahead of the Bengals in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

It's looking like Malcolm Floyd will be a Ravens and Mason a Jet. Interesting...

Free agent LB Lofa Tatupu is still scheduled to visit with the Redskins on Thursday.
The Redskins re-signed ILB Rocky McIntosh on Wednesday, so the timing is odd. Perhaps the 'Skins want to kick the tires on the 28-year-old Tatupu as a possible eventual replacement for 36-year-old London Fletcher. Or maybe they just feel like tossing some money around. ProFootballTalk.com reported Thursday that the Redskins are $18.7 million under the salary cap. YEAH BUT DONT GET A FUCKING QB

Donte Whitner signs a 2 year deal with the Bengals.

Such a big signing for us, we need all the secondary help we can get

Couldn't be any more correct with this statement. Justin Smith is a monster, and just because he doesn't rack up double digit sacks every year doesn't mean he's not an elite defensive end.

True that, especially of a 3-4 end. A DE that can stop the run is just as valuable as one that racks up sacks.

Smart move by him. The Bengals are completely satisfied with mediocrity and it pisses me off. How can you coach a team for 9 seasons and make the playoffs only twice and STILL be their head coach? Only in Cincinnati...
