Sucks that the Raiders lost Miller but I am happy that they got Boss. I'm a big Boss fan. And I'm not talking Springsteen!Comment

Boss is a good blocker, and considering the Raiders like to run the ball he should fit into the system very well. He is not Zach Miller in the passing game, and his loss will hurt with the lack of a #1 receiving threat.Comment

Great signing for the Pats.......their line is looking pretty damn good now with the addition of Ellis to go with Haynesworth.
In other news, Snelling heading back to the Falcons
It took a little while, but the Atlanta Falcons finally have their backup running back in place.
Jason Snelling(notes) has returned to the team on a one-year contract, according to Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com.
Snelling got considerable interest in free agency but made the decision to return to the scheme he is familiar with, not necessarily a bad idea with no offseason to learn a new playbook. The Falcons also have fifth-round pick Jacquizz Rodgers(notes) in place, but they’re different types of backs.
Snelling rushed for 613 yards with four touchdowns in 2009 for the Falcons. His production was cut in half last season.

Yep, its shaping up to be a great secondary with Hall, Wilson, Landry and Otogwe. I've also been reading that Kevin Barnes has really impressed coaches and is pushing hard for playing time, and he will definitely be aided by Philip Buchanon's suspension. Barnes also has what both Hall and Wilson lack, and thats size.Comment

Veteran free agent linebacker Andre Carter has agreed to a deal with the New England Patriots, a league source confirmed to ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss.
Details of the deal were not available.
Carter has been in the league 11 years since being drafted out of California by the San Francisco 49ers in 2001.
He spent five seasons with the Niners before joining the Washington Redskins where he has played since 2006.
Carter amassed 44 tackles (25 solo) and 2.5 sacks last year in Washington.
At 6-foot-4, 257 pounds, Carter projects best to defensive end in a more traditional four-man line.
The Patriots have been utilizing a four-man line through the first stretch of training camp, with Eric Moore and Jermaine Cunningham the top ends. In the last three days, the team has added three new players to the mix -- Mark Anderson, Shaun Ellis and now Carter.
Carter, who has 66 career sacks, totaled 11 in the 2009 season. He has played in 149 career regular-season games, with 133 starts.

Fuck you Shaun Ellis, go eat a bag of dicks.
edit:
Also, I personally would love if the Jets tried getting Cortland Finnegan. Seems like a good scrappy player that would work well in our "in your face" defense.Comment
