Taking My Talents to...???? (Kyle Orton 2011 Tracker)

    Kyle Orton 2011 Tracker
    :orton::orton::orton::orton::orton: :orton::orton::orton::orton::orton:
Right now Orton is a man w/o a team.

-Broncos don't want him because they are blinded by Tebow love. Even though Orton has been out performing Tebow in camp. (Brady Quinn has as well.) But they paid him a 1.5 mil bonus earlier today so he might be stuck there

-Cardinals passed on him because he's not good on third down and they expect to face a ton of third and longs this season.

-Orton was almost a dolphin until he (rightfully) demanded a better contract than Kevin Kolb. Orton would be the best Mia QB since Marino.

Broncos are holding him hostage. Oh well. :orton:

    2010 stats: In 13 games 3600 yards, 20 tds, 9 Ints.

If Orton gets his PT he will throw TD #100 and he will throw for 4000 yards this season.

What exactly will you be tracking? Whether his hat is backwards or not while he's holding his clipboard? How many times he gets to come in at the end of the game to take three knees? His camp competition with the punter to see who locks down the holder job?

Broncos were one of the worst teams in the league last year.

32nd rated defense in yards and points.

And it's supposed to be some shock Orton put up numbers while behind? The Broncos gave up nearly 30 ppg last year, when were they not behind?

            What is this? I can't.

Kyle Orton will never be an elite quarterback. Starting him pretty much guarantees a mediocre season for your team. Why? Because he sucks ass in the redzone.

On the other hand, how did Tim Tebow do in the redzone? In his three starts the Broncos made nine trips to the redzone. They had seven touchdowns, one fieldgoal, and one turnover in those trips. Pretty damn good.

Yeah and the majority of those touchdowns were rushes, some by Tebow when he was playing his natural position.

If Tebow is so great he'd be beating mediocre Orton out in camp, but from what I've heard he's been struggling to beat out Brady Quinn.

I'm sure if Orton gets stuck in Denver this year they'll eventually start Tebow on some "Well we suck anyway might as well see what this guy we wasted a high first round pick on can do" shit. Start tebow from week one and you guys can draft Luck next year.

And lol at Orton being the reason for the Broncos being mediocre. Now it might be McDaniels wasting draft picks, letting go of players like Hillis/Marshall, fielding the worst defense in the league and one of the worst rushing games. Sorry you guys put Orton in a situation only Peyton Manning could thrive in and it didn't work out.

                    Now I'm done.

orton just needs to wait until week 4 when tebow has gone 0-3 and has a concussion from trying to run over nfl caliber linebackers.

"Observers saw it, coaches saw it and, equally important, players saw it," writes SI.com's Jim Trotter, who calls the gap between the two QBs "as wide as the initial debt-reduction plans of Democrats and Republicans." For now, Orton is clearly No. 1 on the depth chart. If this was purely a football decision, Orton would be a lock to start the season opener. Considering his contract situation, though, a trade remains a possibility.

The Denver Post is calling the Broncos' backup job a Tim Tebow versus Brady Quinn battle. If the Broncos still plan to trade Orton, they're wasting valuable starters' reps on the overpriced incumbent. Denver needs to make a quick decision on whether to move on from Orton or keep him in the lineup. He's taking up valuable cap space and time for Tebow to form a rapport with Brandon Lloyd.
Tim Tebow is in a serious quarterback competition all right. He and Brady Quinn are neck and neck in the battle for the No. 2 quarterback spot.

Kyle "Judas" Orton. Makin em mad!

Tim Tebow: The only player who looks like shit in practice but great in the real game. Oh wait he couldn't even complete half his passes.
