Woah leave Harrison Smith out of this.

I'm not gonna comment on Roy Williams because he was the next big thing for a long time and I think there were alot of reasons why it didnt work out in Dallas (mostly way-too-high-expectations).
I just think that James Jones was the move here. Green Bay didnt need him after Jordy Nelson's monster superbowl, Donald Drive has at least another year, if not two of high productivity, and Greg Jennings (who, by the way, was the guy GB got for Javon Walker. HAHA) is a bonafide top 5 reciever. GB took Jones back because he didnt have any value anywhere else. with Aromashadu bailing, James Jones was the 1 move that made perfect sense for the Bears, and yeah the guy is overrated... but Devin Hester is never going to be anything other than a glorified kick returner.Comment

James Jones drops balls like he just hit puberty. Just saying. Id still welcome him but he makes some boneheaded drops.Comment

What PFF said on the Bears free agency:
Chicago Bears
Big Signing: Nick Roach. This is stretching the definition of ‘big signing’. Roach is the best guy they brought in/ brought back and has constantly delivered.
Under the Radar: Corey Graham. Graham led the league in special teams tackles last season.
Big Loss: Danieal Manning. Something finally clicked in his final year with Chicago, but was never going to get the money from the Bears that he got from Houston. Our seventh ranked safety in 2010.
Grade: D. They failed to significantly upgrade any spot and brought in a host of underachieving players.Comment

LOL at the Bears signing a player to replace Olin Kruetz......................and that player getting bumped for Roberto Garza to become the starting center and Lance Louis becoming the starting RG.Comment

im not too mad over losing olin, i mean a big part of the push you need to get 1 yard comes from the Center...............Comment

The Bears are going for what the Raiders go for every year.. a good Madden team.
I'm not too pissed at losing Manning. He wasn't a real good safety and we already have Hester and Knox for returns.Comment

Just saw senser's thread and thought this needed a bump.
Looks like the Bears made a whole lot of moves without really doing anything...a whole lot of bums.Comment

Whats amazing to me is that the Bears signed an already beat up Marion Barber, and he predictably gets hurt before the regular season even starts. Instead of Bears fans asking why Angelo signed an injury-prone RB, they are excited about Barber's "return" to the Bears in week 3! This guy has zero yards rushing for the Bears so far.Comment
