Really. He probably brought them there to bring awareness to where ever he was, not to as a publicity stunt for him self. People just can't get over the fact that he's a good guy.

I don't think anyone is trying to claim Tebow is a good QB, however he got the job done and thats what matters. People like the style of play he brings to the field.

Every team offensively has a bad game, just look at the Ravens offense last night. They are head and shoulders above Denver talkent wise and they did just as bad as Denver offensively last night against the Jags and Flacco has been in the league 3 years. Yes, Flacco has taken to the Ravens to the playoffs but everyone has a horrendous game.

Give Tebow more than 4 starts before deciding to rip him. See how he does with the last 10 games before drawing a conclusion

The only reason we weren't winless going into that game was because we got a gift win from Cincy in week 2. Go back and look at what Green Bay did to us a couple week's back.

Denver is for all intents and purposes just as bad if not a worse team than Miami talent wise and that was before we traded away our leading WR.

So yeah, we beat one of the worst teams in the league. But on the whole that Miami team is still probably better than Denver across the board and they were at home.

Kyle Orton had a shot at two comeback drives against the Raiders and the Titans and fell on his face both times. I'll take the guy that steps up in those spots over the guy who folds every time.
Indy would beat Miami right now. You know this.

It would come down to Curtis Painter and whoever plays QB for Miami having a three and out battle for the ages.

Well when Matt Moore outplays your starting QB, then yeah.

My team won on Sunday, it was exciting as all hell and I had a great time watching it. Tim Tebow was a big reason for that.

                  That's why I watch sports.
Don't let these guys piss on your parade. That was a great win, and will go down as one of the great moments in franchise history. Exciting, riveting stuff. I'm not sure how good he is or what he'll ultimately be, but right now Tebow is a special player and Broncos fans should be enjoying every second of wherever this is going.

And for the record glen, I am not trying to take away your enjoyment. This is a thread about Tim Tebow's merits as a football player, not whether or not Broncos fans should be excited over a win.

He did not have a particularly great game, from where I was sitting.

C'mon... this isn't the Jaguars. The Broncos have a lot of great moments, is this REALLY something that's up there?

                        I would say so, yeah.

Who is anyone else to determine how a fan base should judge their moments? Broncos fans are clearly excited. This was a very memorable moment, and if Tebow does turn out to be something decent, it becomes an epic moment.

I think you are overstating things quite a bit. Which takes us back to why people get annoyed. His achievements are constantly being overstated.

                            Over analysis.

                            That was a fantastic comeback.

Nobody remembers or cares that Joe Montana threw a ball directly into Lewis Billups chest that would have sealed the Bengals win, they care that he made the drive at the end. Nobody remembers that Kurt Warner completed one pass the entire 4th Q of SB 34, they remember the Isaac Bruce TD.

Tebow made several big plays on those final two drives, and got the job done. It's crazy how negative people are being.

Weren't both of those Super Bowls?

And not regular season games against the 2nd worst team in the league?

Again, judging him as a normal QB is missing the point. The theme here, is Tebow is a guy who has no business succeeding, but always does. I expect the crappy passing stats, that's part of the charm here. I hope he never develops as a passer, that would be boring.
