First time i watched the broncos with tebow at the helm.. I knew they changed to this run option shit but let the guy throw the ball! I just watched into the third quarter at Bdubs and I didn't watch the rest as we left.. but for a guy that regularly throws the ball he would have hit some of the passes he threw.. but nah he isn't in rhythm and in these long 3rd downs. Thomas hurt him on one throw but damn, it does seem they don't want him to succeed and then he RISES up and puts da team on his back doeee

u need to watch a whole game. Some of his passes are just turrible and then the ones he does throw nice....they drop.

I don't care what you guys say. This offence/offense was set up to make Tebow look bad so can they justify a QB change next year. Tebow fucked it up by actually winning games.

Fox is constantly bad-mouthing Tebow (look at his comments to Jake Delhomme this week) and Elway is absolutely convinced Tebow isn't the answer.

They expected this option offence/offense to fail ... and judging by passing stats it may have, but Tebow is winning. Something I think has taken Elway/Fox by surprise.

Kind of like the movie Major League right? But instead of ruining the team to move out of Cleveland they are ruining Tebow to....make Josh McDaniels look bad?

I just hope there is no poster of Elway/Fox they are undressing after every win..

The defensive genius was supposed to be the one who finally put us out of our misery.. Just like the Cheifs and the the Raiders were supposed to. Now the guys on ESPN can spend the next week telling me how there is NO WAY that the Chargers fall for this..

The Jets did a great job for 95% of the game then went dumb. Also the Jets can't expect to win games scoring 13 points in today's game.

Also can Tebow survive getting hit 20 times a game without injury?

How about coming back from 10 down in the third against Oakland 2 weeks ago? Or maybe coming back from 13 down in the third quarter to beat the Texans last year.

If you guys really think Quinn or Orton is winning these games at all let alone in more impressive fashion you're kidding yourselves.

Curious to see how many of you have seen more than 2 Denver games this season.

The Texans couldn't stop a high school team last year. Oakland is playing well, but the point is these events aren't happening against teams that are top 10, teams that are playoff contenders (lets be real, the AFC West has no contender).


If he beats a quality team that plays well (and doesn't get aided by pick sixes) then I'll put more stock into what he's doing. Right now, it feels more like the Miami Wildcat experiment and we all know how long that lasted.

And I have given the defense their due multiple times in this thread but thanks for playing. If only there was something we could pinpoint for a defensive improvement from when Denver was 1-4... If only we benches the NFL leader in turnovers for a guy with two turnovers in five games. If only we had gone to an offensive gameplan that chewed clock and let the defense rest for a change.

Maybe then we could pinpoint the difference over the last five games.

He had a throw in the first half in a window that should have been made. Showed a replay and then another view from above behind him.. i chalked it up to the play calling cause he was on time with the throw just a little wide..

I was basically yelling let him throw the damn ball all night. He has a very strong arm hence I think he broke Decker's fingers last night. just let him throw it more and let him make some throws.. I think he can play and can actually root for him a little since he isn't in a damn Gator uniform anymore

Definitely interesting to see how quickly you turned around on Tebow, Glen. If i remember correctly at the beginning of the season, you hated tebow and said he sucked

Let's give credit where credit is due: The Jets have a great defense, and the Broncos had a clear plan to chew clock and control the field long enough to give them a chance at the end.

I don't think "Tebow pulling it out" was part of the gameplan, but the kid brought it when they needed it most. What else can you say?

You're misunderstanding me. They can't just have 4 wideouts spread out over every play. He's gotta have tight ends and fullbacks in there too because they bring guys in from all different directions. Having 4 guys running back and forth trying to create separation from NFL secondaries can't work - which is why he's barely thrown the ball.

What I'm saying is that Urban Meyer's playbook wouldn't stand a chance and that Denver will have to be more creative than that. They're doing a half-decent job so far against middle-of-the-road teams. We all saw what the Lions did.
