I didn't say the win shouldn't count. I'm just cracking up reading all these Tebow nut huggers saying "he's winning!". Ok, yeh. As of rght now. But do any of them really believe it's sustainable based on his style of play.

It's a really cute story and everything but anyone who thinks Tebow and the Broncos can keep winning like this, and win anything significant like this is fooling themselves.

And so what? I don't disagree with the assessment, but isn't winning games preferrable to losing games? Is giving fans something to cheer about and enjoy, even temporarily, a terrible thing? Even assuming it doesn't last, what's wrong with fans - either Denver fans or just Tebow fans - enjoying it?

But you're also forgetting it's his 8th start in the NFL. I think he will only improve.

And people have thought that about how many QB's in NFL history?

Could Tebow improve? Hell yes. And frankly I hope he does because Denver is entertaining as hell to watch with him. It's a welcome deviation from the kind of boring similar NFL offense everywhere else.

But I'm also not fooling myself thinking this shit can go on forever unless Tebow and the Broncos, improve, and adapt. T

I'm not here to predict the future... Neither is a majority of this site who wrote us off against the Lions. It's working right now and if we need to adjust next year than I'm confident it will happen.

Rex Grossman got you to the SB IIRC... If Tim Tebow gets us to the Super Bowl I don't really give a fuck how he does it.

Not in 2005...and Grossman was almost benched countless times in the season that he did...and he had amazing defenses..and fantastic running games...Grossman was also an early season MVP candidate in 2006 before he collapsed..then fell off the face of the earth in 2007. Flash in the pan really...whcih is kind of what we are seeing with Tebow now IMO..unless he improves.

You and KG have yet to point out what has changed in Denver's wins as opposed to their losses despite the change at QB and in offensive scheme.

I'm officially a Tebow fan. I have always kind of liked him, ever since I saw some footage of him working out. People say "he works hard" and it seems cliche'. As somebody who puts in work, and watches athletes workout all the time... and I have worked out with a college and nfl player a time or two... I can say with little doubt that there are few people on this planet with this kid's work ethic. I can't not want the guy to succeed.

I think by last minute he meant the actual last 1:00 before the 4th quarter ended. So technically Vick's run doesn't count.

I think another thing that a lot of people are forgetting is that Denver is still in the process of installing this offense.

Sure, Tebow is more comfortable with the scheme but last time he checked he's the only on on our offense that played in Meyer/Mullen's scheme. Every other team in the league had a full preseason and now 10 weeks of the regular season to perfect their offense, we're still adding new stuff every week. So far it's week 3 of a process that usually takes an entire off-season of mini-camps followed by training camps and a preseason.

Not like that would have anything to do with offensive efficiency...

the zone read takes 10 seconds to install and doesn't really change any blocking assignments... really only the QB's and RB's have to adjust (in this case, just the RB's)...

I forgot we just ran the zone read 60 times last night... Must have thought all those motion reverses that weren't in the playbook two weeks ago were something other than a zone read for some reason... I must be losing my mind.

How did I not realize those triple options and shovel passes were just zone read handoffs this whole time?

those are both basic concepts of the zone read offense... again, the blocking doesn't really differ from other run plays in this offense... way to dumb it down though...
