It's a really cute story and everything but anyone who thinks Tebow and the Broncos can keep winning like this, and win anything significant like this is fooling themselves.
And so what? I don't disagree with the assessment, but isn't winning games preferrable to losing games? Is giving fans something to cheer about and enjoy, even temporarily, a terrible thing? Even assuming it doesn't last, what's wrong with fans - either Denver fans or just Tebow fans - enjoying it?

And people have thought that about how many QB's in NFL history?

Could Tebow improve? Hell yes. And frankly I hope he does because Denver is entertaining as hell to watch with him. It's a welcome deviation from the kind of boring similar NFL offense everywhere else.

But I'm also not fooling myself thinking this shit can go on forever unless Tebow and the Broncos, improve, and adapt. T

Rex Grossman got you to the SB IIRC... If Tim Tebow gets us to the Super Bowl I don't really give a fuck how he does it.
Not in 2005...and Grossman was almost benched countless times in the season that he did...and he had amazing defenses..and fantastic running games...Grossman was also an early season MVP candidate in 2006 before he collapsed..then fell off the face of the earth in 2007. Flash in the pan really...whcih is kind of what we are seeing with Tebow now IMO..unless he improves.

Apples to oranges with the SB stuff.

        Why would I?

Obviously Tebow is a (the main)factor in them. I'm not saying he isn't. I'm not discrediting Tebow for getting wins. I'm merely pointing out that he is in fact playing like shit. Winning yes. Playing well..no. These types of wins typically aren't sustainable when you look over the course of NFL history for QB that have won this way.

          And for the record:

I enjoy the fuck out of watching Tim Tebow play for a variety of reasons.

I hope to hell he improves and Denver sticks with him

But here's the kicker: He's playing like shit, and his team is 4-1. I'm not saying he's guaranteed to get better, but can you imagine what this team can accomplish if he does?

I like how Killgod said they're gonna end up in a "suck for luck" position next year. Last I checked that's exactly what they were doing this current season until Tebow got the starting position. Now they're have a pretty good shot a making the play offs.

From 1-4, to 4-1 and people are really acting as if The Broncos shouldn't be starting Tebow..or that their fans should be worried for the future? lol. Yes, I'm sure Tebow will be the demise of this great team he took over for....

Too many dumb arguments, not enough tracking.

His 20 yard TD run was the longest by an QB in the final minute to win the game.

Records and wins are not words that could be associated with Kyle Orton's play this season.

I'm officially a Tebow fan. I have always kind of liked him, ever since I saw some footage of him working out. People say "he works hard" and it seems cliche'. As somebody who puts in work, and watches athletes workout all the time... and I have worked out with a college and nfl player a time or two... I can say with little doubt that there are few people on this planet with this kid's work ethic. I can't not want the guy to succeed.

And last night baby Jesus stuck his omnipotent cock up Tebows ass and fucked him to the endzone. The lions are paying for there blasphemy against the one the call Tebow.

By final minute, they mean in regulation time.

It's a pretty specific records, but one none the less.

I think by last minute he meant the actual last 1:00 before the 4th quarter ended. So technically Vick's run doesn't count.

But it gives me a good excuse to remind Houston:

Was pretty awesome hearing Texans fans actually cheer that run to beat their team.

LOL I know that. But Vick's run was still way more awesome.

Sure, Tebow is more comfortable with the scheme but last time he checked he's the only on on our offense that played in Meyer/Mullen's scheme. Every other team in the league had a full preseason and now 10 weeks of the regular season to perfect their offense, we're still adding new stuff every week. So far it's week 3 of a process that usually takes an entire off-season of mini-camps followed by training camps and a preseason.

Not like that would have anything to do with offensive efficiency...
the zone read takes 10 seconds to install and doesn't really change any blocking assignments... really only the QB's and RB's have to adjust (in this case, just the RB's)...

those are both basic concepts of the zone read offense... again, the blocking doesn't really differ from other run plays in this offense... way to dumb it down though...
