Falcons starters on offense and defense looked fairly well. Can't wait till preseason 3 and 4 when they get more clock.

Chiefs just decided to have a walk through against the Bucs apparently.

Surprised by how long Tampa kept their starters in.

I'm excited just to be watching some football, but lets face it....this shit is meaningless. I'm pretty sure the 2008 Lions went 4-0 preseason followed by 0-16.

What matters isn't the W or the L. It's the individual performances.

In '08 the Lions offense looked hot in the preseason. Jon Kitna got injured, Roy Williams got traded, and pretty much there went the offense.

I'm going to focus on they rhythm of the 1st team offense, then the young players who potentially can contribute this year...specifically the rookies. After that it's all about watching some pigskin fly for the first time in 7 months.

Naw...the center that fumbled the exchange is a backup guard, and the RB that fumbled is a backup who probably won't even make the team.

Congrats to Tampa for taking it to KC's fringe roster players. They obviously felt like they needed the extra work.

Just got back from New Orleans...had second row seat at the 50-yard line. So I got to witness Alex Smith's utter incompetence first-hand.

My God, he was awful. Even when the o-line managed to give him some time to throw (which wasn't often), they were way off target. In stark contract, I thought Kaepernick looked pretty good. He had two late picks, but I saw sharp throws, and an athletic ability to make something out of nothing. If the next three games go like this one went, Kaepernick will win that starting spot no doubt.

On the bright side, our defense looked awesome on the opening few drives. Drew Brees couldn't do anything.
