    My Worst Fantasy Football Team

QB: Donovan McNabb - this fool is always available, always rated as a 2nd tier QB, and always starting for someone. Yet once you pick him up and see you are getting about 10 pts per game from him, you think "What happened? Why doesn't he at least run for yards?". Would be better off with Ryan Fitzpatrick in most cases.

RB: Ronnie Brown - a couple good years surrounded by several average ones. Very inconsistent. Also, he's always listed as "questionable" and some weeks he'll get 20+ carries and other times he won't even play.

RB: Cadillac Williams - this joker will be hanging around the fantasy scene for a few more years. Might start a couple times before he gets hurt. Having that big rookie year was the worst thing to happen for fantasy owners.

WR: Donte Stallworth - always around the NFL, this guy managed to find a way onto everyone's fantasy team at some point during his career. Still waiting for that breakout season.

WR: Chris Chambers - stock rises when he is dumped from one team and signs with another. "Can you imagine how many TDs Chambers will get catching passes from ??" Hasn't done anything in years.

WR: Lee Evans - his one huge season is now a distant memory, but still thought to be valuable. Once he leaves Buffalo, fantasy owners will be adding him to their rosters. Bad.

Honorable mention WRs: Lance Moore, Devery Henderson, Robert Meacham, and any Saint WR not named Colston.

TE: Antonio Gates - many TE's have little fantasy value, but Gates is the best. The problem is his injury status. Unclipped toenail? Zero catches. Broken leg? 5 catches for 3 TDs. A nightmare for fantasy owners and opponents.

K: Adam Vinatieri - I don't know if kickers can really be hyped, but Vinatieri's move to Indy qualifies. With his penchant for missing extra points, getting hurt, or just sitting out for no reason, Vinatieri is the least reliable kicker in the game.

Defense: Jacksonville - a couple strong years in mid-2000's, but now this team is a shell of itself. Any good player the Jags get is immediately shipped out of town.

I'd like too nominate Tampa Bay Defense. Consistently drafted in every league way too early based on a reputation from a decade ago.

Kinda like that one guy in every league who thinks he's clever and keeps drafting Barry Sanders in the final round.

Your Gates comment is laughable. He missed 5 games last year and still finished as the second best TE in standard formats and third best TE in PPRs. He didn't miss a game in 2009 or 2008.

That being said I agree 100% on McNabb. I've always let someone else draft that clown.

And I didn't know that Ronnie Brown had any good seasons. Like to let out a little laugh every year when someone over drafts him.

Your also dead on about Lee Evans.

And good luck with Ole No Knees Colston this year.

His performance wasn't the issue. His "questionable" injury status was. Sheesh. He would be listed as "Probable" and wouldn't play, then he'd be listed as "Doubtful" and have a huge game.

1000 yards 4 out of 5 seasons and he still missed games. The one time he didn't reach 1000 he was on pace to.

I'm very well aware how productive Colston's been in recent years. Had him on my teams a number of times.
My concern is his 5th offseason knee procedure in 5 seasons. They've been holding him out of practices recently and I've read there's some worries about his knee. Don't think he's an awful pick but I'm not taking him (unless he falls into the mid 20s at WR).

Lee Evans is the worst player to own. He would only catch like 5 passes all year and they would all be 80 yard touchdowns.

BREAKING FANTASY NEWS: Lee Evans has been traded to Baltimore for a 4th round pick.

                    Adjust your cheat sheets accordingly.

Wow. Ray Rice's fantasy value just took a huge nosedive!

                        So did Steve Johnson's.

He'll be seeing double and triple coverage all year now.

Maybe not a "huge nosedive", but he's not going to see the same amount of production as last year. IMO.

but he'll blame his lack of production on God.

Here is an awesome response I got about this from the ChiCitySports forum. Count your blessings that you are on VSN and not CCS...

What kind of discussion are you trying to stimulate? I can see where a "best of" list would provoke all kinds of discussion, but where do you go with this?
