We've seen refs get jacked up. What do you think will happen if Ray Lewis lays the smackdown on a 120 lb female? It doesn't happen often but I'm sure if this does happen, then eventually she will get trucked and it won't be pretty.

You sure as hell can't expect her to try and break up fights that these players get into sometimes.

Is that really your biggest concern?

Any female ref knows what she will be getting herself into and knows that there is a chance she can be accidentally hit.

And I'm gonna go out on a limb and say all females refs aren't 5'3'' 120 pounds. This is a non-issue.

Other than that there isn't really anything to worry about. A female ref might get hit once in an entire season. It's really not actually that big a deal. I'm just saying, maybe if she's unlucky enough she'll get really jacked up and sustain some pretty nice injuries... or she can just get a little nick here or there.

Who cares? The NBA has female refs. You know the rules or you don't. I don't care if a ref is a fucking man or woman, I just want the call to be right.
