yeah, this is really awful news. honestly i would have taken tim hightower over beanie wells. huge mistake to trade hightower away, especially in light of this.

oh well. still a division starting alex smith and tarvaris jackson. still very winnable.

Yeah, the Hightower trade is looking real suspect right now. The Cardinals need to pick up a vet RB unless Alfonzo Smith continues to flash with consistency. I love LSH, but he's not going to be able to hold up as the returner and #2 back.

When it happened, all I could do was . He was really impressing me..running strong, liked his physicality. LSH won't be able to do back-up duty AND return kicks (IF he ever gets a chance to ). Smith played good tonight..but he'll have to keep it up for the next two games to not get cut.
