Jim Irsay hinting that Peyton Manning will not be ready for the start of the season

I hope he is just trying to stir up people on twitter

If it is Curtis Painter the city of Indianapolis might start rioting

Part of me thinks he is just being an ass on twitter, saying something very vague like he did. While it's true, it doesn't scare me very much.

    Would suck though.

      seriously bro?

Irsay is sober for maybe, maybe 10% of the time in a day. I can't believe so many colt fans take what he says so seriously.

      and Irsay aside

Peyton Manning has sat out one play in his entire career from injury.Nobody is keeping Peyton Manning off the field. Dude has a secret emergency surgery in the same week before playing the eventual 16-0 pats and loses by 4 points. Dude's a gamer, I'm 100% confident Manning will be playing week 1.

What colt fans REALLY need to worry about, is are you getting a healthy Peyton Manning week 1, or are you getting a 2008 Peyton Manning, where the first month he struggled but when he regained form he earns the MVP award.

yeah I do find it odd that the Colts never really say anything about injuries, etc, then Irsay comes out and says this on twitter of all places.

It seems to me they're just doing their due diligence, but Manning has a consecutive game record he's going for and I'm sure it means a lot to him, so I'd expect him to return. However, the fact that the season is like 2-3 weeks away and Manning hasn't even thrown a pass since December does raise some questions.
