I remember Lendale White's helmet flying off 3x in one game because he had it on so loosely. He was berated on the sideline, good times were had by all.

Between the intagible benefit of scoring brownie points with the men that control your football destiny, the free advertising, and the fact that the fines go to a good cause (retired players or charity, one of those two, if i recall correctly), it's money well spent. chump change for even the most bottom of the roster.

The only reason it might be of no consequence to Moore is because he's a starting FS drafted in the 2nd round.... I highly doubt any retired players or charity went through his head while making that hit. If he was already the best FS on the team at that point he wasn't looking to move up the depth chart. $20K is a lot of money even to Moore. And it's even mooooooooooooooooooooooore money to guys like Adam Weber who were signed as a UNdrafted FA for "chump change."
