    Blueprint for Change on ESPNU

Really interesting round table discussion going on.

Bilas, who I usually like, is forwarding ideas that make no sense. Same with Robert Smith. and Gilmore. I really have liked what Saban, Meyer, Stoops, Bellotti have had to say as well.

Not like ESPN had anything to do with the over commercialization of amateur athletics or anything ...

And hosting Urban Meyer on a panel about recruiting reform is like hiring Avon Barksdale as a narcotics detective.

          In sum, this fails.

I think Meyer is a slimeball as much as the next guy..but I thought he did bring up some good points. I also saw the irony of ESPN showing this but they at least get credit for putting it together.

In all honesty I thought the show was very very good.

I saw that over the weekend too. Nothing mind blowing, although it was really obvious how out of touch Mark May is.

So all the pundits sounded like idiots, and the coaches or ex-coaches made had decent ideas. Sounds about right.
