Dolphins sign Larry Johnson

Dolphins signed RB Larry Johnson.
It's a strange move. Johnson looked completely washed up with the Redskins early last year, getting cut following Week 2. He then went all season without getting picked up and received no interest on the open market following the lockout. That's because he's 31 and has averaged 3.22 yards per carry on his last 361 NFL totes. Despite Daniel Thomas' disappointing preseason, we don't see Johnson as much more than insurance -- if he even makes the team.
