Wisconsin kicks things off tonight on ESPN. It's the nations first look at Russell Wilson at QB for the Badgers. This is going to be one hell of an offense.

Robert Bolden will start against Indiana State on Saturday @ noon, but Matt McGloin will see snaps. Unless Bolden completely sucks, he'll be the starter against Alabama on the 10th.
I'll be working at the RMU/Dayton game at the same time, so unless we put on BTN in the press box, I'll miss PSU/ISU.

He struggled last year in ACC conference play: 197/329 (59.8%) 2,222 yards 17 TD 11 INT 127 pass eff. If you go back to 2009, you see the same story: 150/263 (57.0%) 2,058 yards 19 TD 11 INT 138.2 pass eff.
I have serious questions as to how he's going to perform against the better defenses of the Big Ten (This year alone they face Nebraska, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State) as well as the better defensive minds (Pelini brothers, Dantonio, Heacock/Fickell, Bradley just to name a few).
Who knows though... a year ago before the season started we were having arguments making fun of Denard playing QB at Michigan.Comment

Also, pumped for the first game of the Luke Fickell era.
Can't wait to see Braxton take his first snap.Comment

Some of the hype over Wilson is the way he left NC State and that he isn't going to sit out this year. He is name that transferred to a big program.
Great post by SportsBuck. Just looking at his overall stats he looks like a difference maker but his ACC stats don't seem like they will transfer well to the Big Ten.Comment

I live in Wisconsin and am a Badger fan and all but for some reason I would LOVE to see them come out and lose tonight after all the hype they've been getting.
And the whole Russel Wilson thing - I don't see why they would change their offense for this guy.Comment
