Tom Brady best QB in the NFL

    TOM BRADY>all

reasons why he is the best is because all through his career he never had a top of the line WR. He has made receivers like Deion Branch, David Givens, David Patton look great. Once each of them left they did shit. Once BRady got a Hall of fame caliber receiver he had a very good season. You dont have to like Tom Brady but you definitely have to respect his playing abiltys.

but you asked me about the playoffs though not the regular season. If you asked me about the regular season I would of said it was quite dissapointing

IMO, Tom Brady is arguably the best Quarterback of all time. He has won 3 Super Bowls and he did it with guys you will never even hear of 10 years from now.

LOL please. Don't tell me people actually buy into the "spygate" thing.

True football fans know the truth and don't let their homerism come in the way of appreciating one of the greatest QB's of all time.

one thing you guys should know is that you are ALLOWED to film the other team. The cameras just cant be on the field. Every team has cameras up in the booths doing the same exact thing. The patriots got in trouble for the way they did it not becasue they did it. And if anynes legacy is tainted it Belichicks not Bradys.

lets not forget the HOF Caliber Defense Brady always had to back him up for all those rings...

let alone the stellar offense that was #1 in the history of the NFL, yet he still couldn't win a championship with them, and even with 81 more attempts at passing, he could only beat mannings TD record by 1, and that was while he was throwing deep balls to Moss in week 17, Manning was sitting on the bench in week 15.

the whole, Brady made those receivers thing is trash anyway, The Patriot offense in those days was based on screens, strong running game, great TE play, AVERAGE receivers, and a NASTY, a fucking BUCK NASTY Defense.

People try to say that Manning had receivers and Brady did, but look what happens when Indianapolis Receivers and Tight Ends leave Indianapolis.... they fucking dissapear. Marcus Pollard was an absolute animal in Indianapolis, what happened when he left? Brandon Stokley was an absolute animal while he was in Indianapolis, what happened when he left? the list goes on of guys that left Indianapolis and turned to shit.

look at the biggest name, Edgerrin James, in his last year with Indianapolis he rushed for 1,500 yards. when he left what happened? the guy started to blow. he hasn't averaged over 4 ypc since he left Indianapolis.

Brady never played in a championship with BAD receivers, no, they weren't great, but they were simply put, average, very, very average. the Patriots constantly had an average offense, but strong defensive play, especially in the playoffs, which secured their rings.

Manning won a championship with the worst Rush defense in the history of the NFL.

Brady threw the ball in the 18-1 season 81 more times then Manning did in his record breaking year, yet still only beat him by TD passes with 1 touchdown, let alone a much higher caliber offense, with guys that could kill you in so many ways, and even then, his Passer Rating still wasn't as high as Manning's, as Manning holds the record for the highest passer rating in a single season.

shit, Imagine if Peyton threw 81 more passes and had a defense like Brady's in the start of his career, this wouldn't even be a question.

oh wait, if we're just going off of superbowls, then lets put Terry Bradshaw into the equation... and completely shit on one of the best quarterbacks if not THE best quarterbacks to play in Dan Marino. that makes sense,

                      Bradshaw > Marino, fucking brilliant.

I am not basing who is better off of records. If it was then Brett Favre would be the worst because he has thrown the most career interceptions. I am basing it on who I think is better. Of course you are gonna say Manning is better. You are a Colts fan. I would be a little shocked if you said Brady was better.

But if you replace Manning with a good QB then they could manage. And Matt Cassel was very close to starting at USC. Even Pete Carrol thought that Cassel was better than Leinart but wasnt going to bench Cassel cause they were winning. BTW Cassel didnt get the Pats to the playoffs so the season was a failure to me.

I'm not trying to base it off of records either, I'm just trying to apply numbers.

look at the numbers, and in the same situation Manning did better then Brady did with a less killer offense.

Analyst have said for years that Brady is the best because "he just wins games", but they refuse to look into the fact that Brady hasn't had the success he had since that defense that killed teams for that 4 year span has gotten older, and started withering away.

We haven't seen a one sided team win the NFL championship since the Rams, whose defense was in honesty underrated, but everyone knew that the Rams big deal was their stellar offense. I mean, when you have a guy rush for 1000 yards and have 1000 yards receiving in the same year, that isn't something that is normal.

we know that the most round teams usually win championships, the Steelers have a great defense, and a solid offense, the giants last year had a great defense, and a solid offense, the colts had a great offense, and a shitty defense that decided not to show up until the playoffs, and early on in the game still let Thomas Jones run on them like small children. the year before that, The Steelers won with Solid offense and great defense.... do you see the trend?

when Brady's defense started falling off, he stopped winning championships.

when Manning defense gave up the most rushing yards in the history of the NFL in the regular season, he managed to win a superbowl.

Didn't know they relayed coaching signals that they taped in the booth down to the lockerroom at halftime.

Not gonna harp on the Spygate thing, but give me a break.
