    Favorite 5 College Players

    From your team.

    GO.

    1. Joseph Addai

Can't explain it but I love everything about Addai. His running style, his toughness, his versatility, his flair for the dramatic, etc. Might not make the list of most LSU fans but he's at the top of mine.

    2. Tommy Banks

Banks was a chubby white guy with no speed. But he was valuable to the offense for years because he absolutely loved to hit people and he had good enough hands to catch passes in the flats and rumble down the sideline.

    3. Rohan Davey

Reaux is the guy who brought the magic back for good in Baton Rouge. Dropping half a g's worth of yards on Alabama in Tuscaloosa and winning an SEC title gets you a permanent spot in the program's Hall of Fame. It's unfortunate that he didn't develop into an NFL quarterback but he was a great college QB in his day.

    4. Patrick Peterson

Not much to say about him that hasn't already been said. I would link you to highlight I made but KNUBB is the only one who would watch and he's already seen it.

    5. Jacob Hester

The heart and soul of the 2007 offense. He's also a huge Atlanta Braves fan.

Mike Hart is probably my favorite. Then Charles Woodson, Chad Henne, Mario Manningham, and Chris Perry.

Bernie Kosar was my favourite college player of all-time, followed by Dean Steinkuhler, but of course I'm old ... and remember that gadget play by Steinkuler in the bowl game.

          Kansas State:

          5. Ell Roberson - QB
Had he not been hurt at the beginning of the '03 season, K-State may have been a national title threat.

          [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZsONYFuvo8&NR=1[/ame]

          4. Josh Buhl - LB

          3. Darren Sproles - RB/Return
What this guy did with the ball in his hands was just un-fucking-real.

          [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4PsgXbvTuU[/ame]

          2. Terrence Newman - CB/Return/WR

          [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJoT-w5t2ks[/ame]

          1. Michael Bishop - QB
Lead us to our first victory over Nebraska in 30 years. Nearly got us to the national championship in '98. And came in 2nd to Ricky Williams for the Heisman.

            1. Mario Williams. We had the number 1 or 2 defense in the nation one of the years him Lawson and McCargo were playing together. If we only had an offense that year we would have contended for the ACC and not just barely making a bowl game.
            2. Nate Irving. Man this kid had alot of heart. Coming back from that serious car wreck and playing lights (IMO) last year.
            3. Russell Wilson. He was our whole team for a few years. Sucks to see him go but Im happy that he is on a better program.
            4. Phillip Rivers. Guy had it all. Not much to say.
            5. Terrance Holt. Defensive and Special Teams monster.

(Not making the cut: Andre Brown, Torry Holt, Adrian Wilson, Toney Baker, Jerricho Cotchery)

Present players to make the list in the future is Audi Cole and Earl Wolfe. Man these guys are beasts.

Honorable mentions: Rhema McKnight, Harrison Smith, John Carlson, Maurice Crum, Michael Floyd

              5. Jeff Samardzija
I own his Cubs tshirt jersey. Best 30 bucks I spent.

              3. Brady Quinn
I love Brady Quinn. Almost at an unhealthy level.

              2. Tom Zbikowski
He was a badass. Wore my favorite number. And played my favorite position.

              Fuck Tennessee.

              1. Golden Tate
It really doesn't get any better. I kind of new him in high school/middle school as he grew up about 1 hour away from me. Has a balling name and then chooses ND. Then dominates for ND. I saw him on campus last semester and shook his hand. It is the peak of my life.

                    1. Dane Sanzenbacher

I could go on for days about how much I love Dane. He memorized the entire playbook within a week of being on campus as a freshman, and balled out for 4 years. He laid his body on the line and somehow always, ALWAYS made the catch. It was a croc that he didn't get drafted, but not surprisingly he made an NFL roster and I have a feeling he'll be there for years to come.

                    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I08QqP7cE5A[/ame]

                    2. Troy Smith

Flat out the best player I've ever seen in a Buckeye uniform. Watching him develop from a kick returner into a Heisman winning QB was nothing short of amazing. Damn shame he couldn't of ended his career with at title.

                    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kN3Gem1T3qI[/ame]

                    3. Mike Doss

The heart and soul of the 2002 National Champions. Returned for his senior year because he wanted to win a title, and did it. 3-time All-American who led one of the best defenses I've ever seen.

                    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HBvGp58fGY[/ame]

                    4. Craig Krenzel

The QB of the 2002 National Champions. Epitomized what Tressel wanted out of a QB, smart, made good decisions, could use his legs, and tough as nails. My most vivid memory of Krenzel is in the NCG when he took a vicious hit from both Sean Taylor and Jonathan Vilma that had even the announcers wincing and he popped right up for the next play.

                    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=julW9Eroqcw[/ame]

                    5. Michael Brewster

Only current Buckeye on this list, and he may end up higher after the year. He was instrumental in putting together the 2008 recruiting class, without him, several of the high profile guys in that class wouldn't be Buckeyes (TP for one). He was an All-American last year and the Rimington award favorite, and is a lock for the first round next year and has been called the best center prospect in years. Would be a captain if Fickell hadn't of decided on game-by-game captains. Epitomizes everything that an Ohio State football player should be.

Guy was an athletic specimen and not to mention he is a Steeler!

                      3. Antonio Cromartie
Who knows what he could of accomplished if he was able to play three years or 4, jumped to the NFL after getting his knee back into playing shape.

                      4. Greg Jones
Guy is a workhorse and everyone that went through the lost decade should have to watch his Clemson run.
