Without a doubt CHARLES WOODSON #1 favorite...and it's not even close

#2 Ron Dayne. I honestly thought he was going to be the next big thing...fizzled out that fucker did.

#3 Ricky Williams - Just insane the size, power, and explosion combination he had, and the running authority! Just amazing. I like power backs though, obviously.

#4 Barry Sanders - As you can tell I love RBs, well he was just magic. Purely the best college RB I can remember watching growing up, but I was still pretty young and didn't watch much of him. Not nearly as much as Ricky and Ron anyhow.

#5 - Tommie Frazier - The best option QB I've known. And I used to be in love with the option.

      1. Dennis Dixon - If he didn't get injured, Oregon would have been in the championship game and Tebow would not have won the heisman. Was such an exciting player to watch.

      2. Jason Gesser - Led us to the Rose Bowl (remember Wazzu's 3 straight 10 win seasons?) and is the definition of a true Cougar.

      .... and the rest.

      3. Brandon Gibson

      4. Alex Brink

            5. D.J. Shockley
Sat behind David Greene for three seasons when he could have easily transferred to almost any other school. Had an incredible year in his only season as a starter.

            [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syu8jx_BA94[/ame]

            4. Rennie Curran
Flew all over the field for three seasons, seemed to make a contribution on every defensive play.

            [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGCsQaqGZCs[/ame]

            3. Thomas Davis
A safety who played more like a linebacker, delivered big hits frequently.

            [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmAy4quJVtw[/ame]

            2. Knowshon Moreno
In his only two collegiate seasons, rushed for 2,736 yards and scored 30 TDs.

            [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0fWcsWGjq4[/ame]

            1. David Pollack
Best defensive player in the SEC for three years. Shame his NFL career got cut extremely short.

              1.) Michael Robinson - 2002-05
              - I have always hated something about our quarterbacks since M-Rob left, cause they don't seem to compare. Incredible leader, very versatile (shifted from QB, RB and WR during 2002-04) and was cool in the clutch.
              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy323D8Go3o[/ame]
              2.) Paul Posluszny - 2003-06
              - Along with Pat Fitzgerald, the only player to win the Chuck Bednarik Award twice. Jack Ham said "Poz" was the greatest linebacker ever to play for Linebacker U, which obviously is some pretty high praise.
              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2wg2JaaQqc[/ame]
              3.) Lavar Arrington - 1997-99
              - Always made the spectacular play. It's a shame that his NFL career was cut short.
              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4GoBoY7DdA[/ame]
              4.) Larry Johnson - 1999-02
              - Should have been the starting RB more than just senior year. Should have won the Heisman in 2002.
              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISCuOaRYwGs[/ame]
              5.) Derrick Williams/Deon Butler/Jordan Norwood - 2005-08
              - Thank you Derrick Williams for coming to PSU and essentially bringing Penn State football back. His commitment paved the way for other high-profile recruits to start pouring in and although his career stats might disappoint as a former #1 recruit, he still was an extremely good player for us. Butler was a former walk-on CB turned WR and Norwood was a high school point guard - both obviously surpassed expectations.

Did I have to see them when they played or seeing them after the fact allowed? If its the latter...

                      5. Lamar Thomas / Randall Hill - Cool dudes.
                      4. Dan Morgan - White Linebacker!

                      1. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - Not for reasons pertaining to football.

Simply amazing, would be higher if I didnt believe he is a big reason for the problems with the current UGA team (prima donnas).

                          [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WJe86_y2Ps[/ame]
Could have put Thomas Davis here also. Loved them. Miss the 2002-2005 defense

Sat until senior year to play at UGA, played amazing in 2005. Might have gone undefeated if he doesnt get injured.

                          2. David Greene
                          [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7b-TxkrEWAg[/ame]
Wasn't the prettiest, but he was a winner. Master of the play action pass.

Clearly I am only going with guys I watched.

#5 Joe Germaine - Before Smith vs Zwick and Wiley vs Pearson, there was Germaine vs Stanley Jackson. Two two headed monster was never my favorite, however like Wiley 98 was finally the year he would have the job himself and he didn't disappoint breaking the school record for passing yards, making 98 not only one of my favorite, but one of the best Buckeye teams I have ever seen.

                              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AZ8GkEBISY[/ame]

#4 Michael Wiley - Maybe it was because Pepe Pearson(Eddie George's back up) was so overrated that when Wiley came in he just looked like a stud in comparison, I was screaming to see more of him each week, then in 98 the job was finally his. Thank God.

                              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPSdNhgA7IE[/ame]

#3 Troy Smith - yes I know Troy and I have a history with most of you posters, but he was and is still one of my favorite Buckeyes. First and foremost back when he was a sophomore and Justin Zwick was terrible, I quickly became a Smith fan not only because of his running, but his arm. In the nearly 3 seasons he was terrific outside of the Florida game, and was a total Michigan killer

                              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Udne9JTds5A[/ame]

#2 James Laurinaitis - You combine the fact that he was seeming everywhere at once on the field with the fact that he wore by favorite number ever, How could I not love this guy. He could stuff the run, sack the QB or pick him off with ease, the man did it all. Katzenmoyer, Carpenter, Hawk, all great LB's in Columbus, Laurinaitis was the best.

                              [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXzT7NQZcuQ[/ame]

#1 Eddie George - An absolute beast, for college football he ranks up there with Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker for being a man amongst boys. He just flat killed everyone you couldn't help but to love this guy play.

Guys that I actually sat and watched, at an age where I understood football at an adult-ish level. Tommie Frazier and Woodson I marvel at now, as an adult, at the College level, but I didn't watch/follow when they played.
