Hass is really excited about Luck. You get the feeling he might be rooting against the Seahags this year.

I don't get it. I mean, why sign a guy like T. Jackson if you plan on drafting a big time QB? Only room for one sheriff, you know?

The 49ers have a definite shot. They suck.

If it's Cincinnati, you can be sure Luck will just go back to school.

It won't be Buffalo, I think Buffalo could even get to 8 wins this year. If Newton sucks, it could be Carolina, but with those two RBs there's no reason for that team not to be competitive (again, if Newton doesn't suck).

I don't buy Cincy, I think Dalton will be ok because of Benson and this team was pretty good two years ago. I think they'll rebound.

Seattle is my pick - what they have done with the QB position the past two years is baffling. Giving up premium picks for a practice squad QB, dumping a proven veteran coming off a great playoff upset for a guy who couldn't get wet if he fell out of a boat. Again, baffling.
Luck has already said he's not returning for his senior season. He graduates from Stanford this year... so he'll be in the draft.

Matt Barkley and Landry Jones are two other underclassmen that figure to join him in the draft next April.

And Pittsburgh throws there hat in the ring, maybe if we are forced to put hines ward at O line this year due to other injuries we'll have a good shot at Luck

              Your sweepstakes favorites IMO:
              Cincinnati
              Seattle
              Buffalo (although they could surprise)
Carolina (they'd take Luck in a heartbeat barring Newton being a mega-star)
At first I was like LOL, and then they beat the Chiefs 41-7, and I thought the Chiefs would make some noise this year...still do. But dayum.

Landry Jones and Matt Barkley have a shot to go top 5-10 as well. Good crop of QBs this year.

Anyway the Panthers appear to be set at QB for now so you can cross them off.

I'm fully convinced the Seahawks are poised to run away with this thing right now. Although the Chiefs may be a dark horse.

Standings are updated. We have 16 teams off and running for one Andrew Luck. This is going to be as exciting as the playoff chase.

I think the Chiefs will win too many games.. Charles can will them to at least 3 wins..
