This might have been the best week 1 in a long time.

    Thursday night game - brilliant.
Sunday - my Eagles and Bills won convincingly.
Sunday night - great game, Cowboys lose. Jets get their 9/11 game.
Monday - here's hoping the Fish are competitive with the Pats. Raiders-Broncos always a good game.

Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday. Great to be a football junkie again.

Monday couldn't have been worse for me unless we lost Polamalu or Woodley to a season ending injury. Otherwise some of the games were good, but damn there were a lot of lopsided games weren't there? Manning is done for an indefinite amount of time and the Colts suck ass without him. Also Cam Newton did so well that I'm going to HAVE to start him more this season, in games I might otherwise have gone with Flacco on my fantasy team and he'll end up throwing 6 INTs in those games...FUCK, why couldn't have have just sucked like every other rookie QB? Don't get me started on the Ravens eating my Steelers lunch today... And now LaSean McCoy makes me look like a dumbshit for not drafting him in every fantasy league...like I could have, but went with Felix Jones or some other average dip shit instead...oh, oh don't let me forget about Chiefs losing 41-7 just hours after I bet my cousin (who happens to be a Raiders fan) $50 that the Chiefs were going to win the division...fucking great!

    Horrible first week for me.

Excuse me while I drink myself to sleep now...

Chiefs will be lucky to finish 3rd.

The NFL has maybe one game per week that isn't mind numbingly boring and coma inducing. This week happened to have two...kudos to the NFL.

I can't agree at all the only non blow out games at 1pm were teams that aren't going anywhere. Like Larry said two good games.

The Eagles did not win convincingly. They looked terrible.

The games were very poorly played for the most part. Lots of stupid turnovers and penalties. It still had a "pre-season" feel to it, especially on defense and special teams.

A lot of sloppy football was played yesterday as expected.

You're either the greatest troll in the history of the Internet or just arguing for the sake of arguing. Probably both.

Arguing for the sake of arguing?

                    The fuck?!

If you didn't see a Sunday full of poor tackling, dumb penalties and 100+ yard kick returns, then what the fuck do you watch?

I bet dave played week one of his Madden chise and confused it with real life.

                      Pretty deceptive final score.

The Rams came out blitzing on D and running no huddle on offense, and looked like they could steal the game.

Then, for inexplicable, unexplainable reasons, they stopped blitzing and went vanilla on offense, and the Eagles slowly pulled away.

Vick looked like shit when he wasn't scrambling. The LB's are bad. The run game produced nothing until late in the fourth when the game was out of hand.

This was the type of game that if you missed it, the boxscore looks great, but if you watched, you have concerns.

I stand by my assessment. Lots of sloppy play. Even the "good" teams that ended up winning (Eagles, Jets, Chargers, etc.) looked lackluster for huge parts of the game.

losing Stephen JAckson very early and Danny Amendola later probally saved Philly from being upset. Eagles didnt blow them out lol.

                            Interesting fact:

                            11 300 yard passers.

                            9 >200 yard passers.
