As it stood, they had to settle for a FG and gave up a TD on the Bears next possession, so the score was 23-6. Turner ran the ball one more time after that...thats inexcusable.
Lol, Turner was on the sidelines for a couple plays after that run. Which is why you see J. Rodgers in there (Should of had Snelling in there, I dont know what the fuck they were thinking).

        (10:17) 3-M.Bryant 25 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-82-J.Zelenka, Holder-5-M.Bosher.

Falcons run, run, pass way too much, Im not surprised they chose to run, pass, pass after they had JUST ran, ran, passed.. Just too bad they didn't convert.

I ordered NFL GamePass this season so I've been able to watch many more games then I used to... Here are my week 1 thoughts.

*Saints/Packers This was an awesome game to watch. Both offenses know how to move the ball and it was a pleasure to watch. Aaron Rodgers slightly outplayed Drew Brees in this one and it looks like the Pack may end up NFC champions once again.
Fantasy Outlook: Robert Mecheam will get plenty more looks during the next 4-5 weeks since Coleston will be out with a broken collarbone. Try to pick him up if you can. As far as Ryan Grant goes, it looks like he will no longer be the point producing fantasy RB he once was now with a split backfield.

*Steelers/Ravens This game really surprised me. I didn't expect the Steelers offense to come out and only put 7 points up on the board and at the same time I didn't expect the Ravens O to put 35 up either. However even with the win by the Ravens this division will probably still come down to the wire. No sure bets here.
Fantasy Outlook: Ray Rice is a stud. Especially in PPR leagues. If he can put up 100 yards vs. the Steelers D he can put up 100 yards against any D. Through the air, Boldin seems like he will have a breakout year now with the release of fellow WR Derick Mason and pass-catching TE Todd Heap.

Falcons/Bears I don't know how the Bears and Jay Cutler can get sacked so much and allow so much pressure and still win games... tough defense that didn't allow ATL to do much at all and good special teams always seems to do the trick. Still fun the watch the Mike Martz offense because you never know how successful or unsuccessful it will be each week.
Fantasy Outlook: If you don't have a good backup QB, Jay Cutler seems like a solid pick. He will get sacked and pressured often but he still puts up OK numbers, especially for a backup. I usually don't like rookie receivers, but Julio Jones looks like he will have a solid season beside Roddy White as well.

*Colts/Texans If the Texans dont make it to the playoffs this year, I don't know if they ever will. Colts look absolutley horrible with Collins at the helm, but that was to be expected since they never played a backup QB in a real game situation in ages. Texans looked real good on both sides of the ball.
Fantasy Outlook: I was really disappointed by the performance of Owen Daniels, but his numbers should pick up now with Kevin Walters injured for 10-12 weeks. I'd also stay away from any Colt player not named Wayne until Manning comes back.

*Bills/Chiefs Did we really just see the Bills offense move the ball up and down the field like that? Wow. I knew Fitzpatrick was an OK-passer but he really played like an above-average quarterback this sunday. The Chiefs... well... they rely so much on their ground game that if it doesn't work then their whole offense doesn't work. What's worse is that the Chiefs couldn't get anything going against a Bills defense that is consistently ranked last in rushing defense year in and year out.
Fantasy Outlook: Depending on the matchup, Fitzpatrick is moving into starter material for deep 12-14 team leagues... But really, the biggest surprise is that TE Chandler that came out of nowhere to snag a couple catches and two TDs. Pick him up on your waiver wire if you can and hopefully the Bills will continue to throw his way.

*Panthers/Cardinals Cam Newton looked like a pro. He already looks like he has a connection with Steve Smith and loves throwing his way. His passes and reads were pretty simple, but he hit his receivers whenever he had to. On the other side of the ball, we had to wait until the second half for Kevin Kolb to finally do something. I thought he would be hooking up with Fitz pretty often but couldn't because the Panthers would constantly double team him. A little worrisome...
Fantasy Outlook: Kolb still ended up with a decent amount of points because of that long TD pass to Early Doucet, which saved his day. Still, Kolb is keeping because during the fantasy playoff weeks he faced the Bengals and the Browns. By then hopefully everything will be shored up. Also, Beanie Wells looked like he's finally hitting the hole hard and now I regret passing on him in my fantasy draft.

*Vikings/Chargers McNabb and the whole passing game sucked. The coaches were keeping the game plan simple and it just wasn't producing any yards. A lot of things will have to change in order for the Vikings offense to be where they want to be. The Chargers, on the other hand, have a great offense but their special teams still seems to be their achilles heel. With a Vikings offense that couldn't pass for dittly-squat, it was just a matter of time until Phillip Rivers was able to take the lead and seal the game.
Fantasy Outlook: Since McNabb couldn't complete a pass, TE Shiancoe finished the game with 0 catches and only 1 look his way. I don't think he will be able to produce much this season under this kind of offensive production. Matthews and Tolbert both seem to share the workload about equally but Tolbert really had a more productive game on Sunday. I'm not sure if this was just a one week deal or if we can expect more of the same every week. Matthews is still dangerous and OK player in PPR leagues.

*Cowboys/Jets The Jets and Sanchez always start off so slow but then always finds a way to win it seems. Romo started off good and always finds a way to screw it up it seems. I laughed when he threw a pick in the final minutes to seal his team's fate. Everything looked pretty normal to me.
Fantasy Outlook: Felix Jones looks like he has a solid grasp on the running back situation. Choice was used a few times but didn't produce much and Murray was used only once or twice. If Jones can get this amount of workload AND get the goal-line carries then he will be golden this year. Tomlinson really surprised me because it looks like he still has some gas left in him.

Honestly I don't think Collins will end up being as bad as everyone is making him out to be. Yes he got sacked and fumbled a few times but with the exception of the missed snap a lot of that blame is the O-line.

16/31 is nothing to brag about but it's not like he was throwing multiple INTs. He's rusty yes, but if he had a half decent team he's good enough to simply manage the game. The thing is, The Colts need him to take charge and win games which isn't gonna happen.

The difference is those sacks and fumbles don't happen with Manning. No reason to think that will improve at all as they move forward with Collins.

Exactly. Collins can still be a capable quarterback in this league, but he's in a horrible situation at Indianapolis. His slow, wind-up-esque release is the complete opposite of Peyton's, which is the reason why the Colts' offensive lines doesn't look as bad as they actually are.

Play-by-play game? I answered why Turner only handled the ball 1 time after his big run. :noidea:

                            Huh?

Turner was on the sidelines for a couple plays after his long run, and Atlanta does "run, run, pass" too much...so that explains the 28 to 1 pass/run ratio in the second half.

Is this more of your "trolling"?
